The Sacrifice

Voldemort stared at Alex and said, "Tell us who the girl is and your parents will be freed" Alex thought and thought about the girl until it hit him, he remembered her name. Alex didn't know what to do, he loved his parents, but what if Voldemort was tricking him? Voldemort and all the death eaters stared at Alex, as the death eater on the camera continued to aim his wand at Alex's parents. Alex took one final breath and glanced at Voldemort. "The girl goes to Hogwarts and her name is..." Alex took "one last deep breath and said, "Hermione Granger". His parents looked terrified more now, Alex just made a huge mistake. Voldemort gave a slightly happy grin and said "Good...LET THEM GO!" Voldemort did what he promised and him and his parents left the Manor with scared looks on there face. "You should of let us die Alex" his father whispered into Alex's ear. "Don't say that, you made the right choice sweety" his mother said with a fake smile. Alex knew they were just trying to calm him down, but now there's a teenage girl in trouble. Alex looked at his parents and asked "Why did they want the girl anyways Dad?" His dad gave a glance at Alex and said, "I wish I could tell you, but I'm afraid I don't know." What could the reason be? Alex thought as he finally exited the solid gate of Malfoy Manor. 

                                                                                  *1 Month later*

It has been 1 month sense Alex had told evil lord Voldemort about Hermione. Alex woke up to a bang on the roof of his room. The window flew open and in came this beautiful girl. She had brown curly hair and wore so much black clothes she blended in with the dark. Alex stared at the alarm it was 2:00 am, then stared back at the angry girl. She stared at Alex looking like she was about to crucio him. Alex froze as he stared at the girl speechless, he couldn't grab his wand it was across the room on his dresser. The girl finally spoke. "Why, why??? WHY? There trying to kill me now! WHY!"  Alex was confused, but then he remembered . "Are you, Hermione Granger?' The girl stared at Alex in disbelief. "Really? No I'm just some other random girl that came to your house mad at you for trying to get VOLDEMORT TO KILL ME! YES I'm Hermione Granger you idiot!"  Alex didn't know what to do, he continued to stare at Hermione speechless. "Why did you tell him my name and were I live?!?!" Hermione shouted at Alex. "Be quiet, your gonna wake my parents." Alex whispered to Hermione. "And it was either that or he killed my parents." Alex told her. "Oh well, then, I'm sorry I.. I didn't know." She said. "Why did you think it was a good idea to crash threw my window??"  Alex asked now looking at the shattered window on the floor. "Trust me all of my houses windows are shattered, along with the roof and walls" Hermione told him. "What why?" Alex asked almost feeling stupid. "BECAUSE OF VOLDEMORT!" She yelled. "oh sorry" She then repeated the same words but this time whispering. "Because of Voldemort". "Why does he want you?" Alex asked. "I cant tell you" Hermione whispered. Suddenly Alex's father called his name, "ALEX! Please come down here, someone's at the door!"  his dad yelled. Alex was confused, what Wizard or Witch would possibly want to talk to him at 2:30 in the morning??  He turned to Hermione and told her he would be right back then stumbled down the small stair case. When Alex turned towards the front door there was his father, and the Death Eater, Barty Crouch Jr. "Mr. Crouch here wants to know if you have seen a girl named Hermione anywhere?" His dad asked. Alex froze his eyes were in shock. "N...N..No why would I?" Alex said stumbling as he spoke. "Because she ran away from home this night towards this street." Barty said, "Mind if I look around just to be sure Mr. Watergrass?" Barty asked Alex's dad. "Yes of course you can" Alex gave a look at his father that said "NO". His father then turned to Barty to send him out but Barty was already walking in the halls upstairs towards Alex's room!  Alex ran upstairs into his room and locked the door. Turned towards Hermione sitting on his bed and said. "We need to leave now!" Hermione looked at Alex  with confusment and asked, "Why?" "Barty, Death eater, HERE, YOU, no time out the window fast!" Alex yelled running towards the window and climbing out. As him and Hermione ran towards the forest behind Alex's house, they heard the sound of the door getting unlocked. The Death Eater walked into Alex's room and peaked out the broken window and yelled to Alex's dad. "Mr. Watergrass, is this window suppose to be shattered!?"  Alex's father ran up stairs and looked out the broken window as well, "No its not....Where is Alex??" Alex's father asked. "He ran into this room and now he's gone..." Barty said. "How did they know I was here?" Hermione asked Alex. "Idk, apparently they saw you running towards our street, they probably checked the whole neighborhood." Alex said watching Barty and his dad leave from the window ledge. "Now what, where do we go now?" Hermione asked Alex. "Hold up, when did I say I was coming with you?" Alex asked Hermione. "What do you want to go back there? You ran across a Death Eater and now your room has a shattered window after he asked if I was here, is that not obvious enough Alex?" Hermione made a good point. The Death Eaters certainly wouldn't just leave Alex alone after all of that. "Ok so about where were going" Alex said. "I don't know, lets apperate out of here first."  Alex watched Hermione reach down for her wand and pull it out of her pocket. Alex reached down for his but then remembered. "MINES STILL ON MY DRESSER! "
