'Honey,wake up!'

I groan as I cover myself in my blanket.

First day of college.

I am going to study medicine becuase I love science so much I would like to know about it more and more.

Especially chemistry.

I love chemistry so much. I love reading and studying chemical equations.

I know weird.

'Honey it's the first day of college aren't you excited?'

'I am mom,'

'I will wait for you in the car hun.'

'okay' I smile to her.

Actually I love my mother so much she's the strongest woman I know.

After my father left us and married another woman.

My mother knew that it was to move on and I took alot of time and effort.

My mom and dad were the highschool's sweet hearts.

My father was the quarter back of the school team.

Every time he won he ran over to her and hugged each other.

But it all started when he was out after a fight with my mom I was two years old (as my mother said)

He went to the bar and got drunk and when he got back home he was about to kill my mother because he was so angry at her in an unexplainable way.

But then my mother kicked him with the baseball racket in his balls and then she ran out of the house with my head on her shoulders.

She ran and ran not knowing where is she headed to. But then she called my grandmother and told her that she is lost in the streets and that she needs help.

And we lived at my grandparents' house until they had a divorce and she started working until she bought a new house. Just Me and her only.

I recollect my thoughts and grab a black hoodie and a white converse and grab my luggage because *college*

I grew up so fast.

Time passes by very quickly.

' I am ready, ' I smile.

My moms eyes became so glossy with a wide smile on her face.

I live for this.

'Mom,' I smile as I grab her into a hug.

'honey I am so proud of you.' she says while stuttering.

'Love you momma.' I say as I pull her tighter.

'we are gonna get late.' she says as we pull apart.

'let us go momma.'

And the journey begins.
