Chapter 5: Doubts

Zhask's P.O.V:

I'm standing at the hallway that leads into my room standing while leaning my body in one of the pillars that support the hallway that is going top to bottom when I remembered something that happened yesterday.

"Did we met before?" I asked to the King of Blackout. "Actually I'm your Bro-" Argus tried to answer but cutted off. "No My king! You didn't met him before!" Karrie nervously said." Oh now it explains more wider" a guy with dagger in his hand whispered enough for me to hear." What do you mean?" I questioned much confused." It's nothing my master, it's just a gossip of them" gord interrupted.

'Hmmm....... Why are they interrupting every time the other team is explaining? I'm getting really curious right now' I said mentally as I found myself staring at the door of the potion room where my companions always discussing which is on the 8th floor while I'm at the 10th floor. Few moments later, I saw them heading towards the room. I hid myself behind the pillar where I am leaning for they were looking if someone watching them. I took a sneak and saw them entered the room. 'Hmmm... Maybe they'll gonna discuss something again?' I said mentally as I decided to spy them because why not? Maybe it's about me.

I summoned my pet and luckily, my casting range is enough so I can summon it in front of the door of the potion room. As I summoned my pet, I heard people discussing.

Zhask's Pet's P.O.H:(Well, if there's a P.O.V which is point of view, maybe I can add P.O.H which is pointing of hearing)

"Hey what should we do?!?!" Gord asked with a panicking tone." We should continue our retrieval operations but King Zhask shouldn't be with us!" Karrie suggested whispering slightly."Well what can make King Zhask be without us when we continue the retrieval???" Cyclops Asked." Let's do it when the King sleeps" Alice suggested. All of them agreed.

Zhask's P.O.V:

As I heard these things, I ran as fast as I can and barged into them." And why am I not allowed to join the retrieval?!?!?!" I asked shouting and panting." Ummmm....... Uhhhh......" Karrie said nervously." Tell me why!" I said impatiently." Because.... This is retrieving things aren't your duty Master. And our department of Justice are making new laws and you should be there always King Zhask" Gord trying to sound casual. 'Now I know they are lying... There's no Department of Justice on our kingdom....' I mentally said to myself."Okay, so see you around?" I said normally trying not to sound doubting." Yeah, sure Master!" Alice replied.

I spent the rest of the time staying in my room planning how to secretly join them without seeing me. Few minutes past, Karrie entered the room." Master, it's already time, you should rest now Master" Karrie said her head facing down but I saw some shadows in my door.' It's almost time' I mentally said as I lay down my bed and fake sleeping. After few moments, Karrie went out of my room. I silently ran to the door and listened to what they are discussing.

Zhask's P.O.H:

"Hey is King Zhask already slept?" Gord asked. "Yes, the king is now on a very deep sleep" Karrie answered." Well, did you guys get all stuff needed?" Alice asked." Yeah! All we have to do now is go to the portal, and find that recipe!" Cyclops answer joyfully."Wait are you sure he's already sleeping?!" Gord asked again with slight panicking tone." Yeah calm down. He's in a very deep sleep so he can't hear us even we are discussing here" Karrie reassured with a happy tone. "Still check it, we don't want to mess up" Alice commanded.

Zhask's P.O.V:

I ran as fast as I can and I lay down again in my bed.'Why don't they just go so I can spy?!' I mentally said to myself as the door opened. I heard some footsteps approaching near my bed so I pretend having a very deep sleep. "See, he's in a very deep sleep, now shall we go?" Karrie whispered to them. "Okay, let's go before they noticed were away" Gord commanded.

They walked away leaving the door opened. After few moments, I grabbed my staff and followed them. After few minutes of following, we finally reached the portal. They entered so am I but with a minute gap. They went for some searching an I just followed them. As I was following them, something fell from the tree branch above me into the front of my face . It says:

Zhask's History loss potion ingredients:

6 Dragon tears
3 drops of Reaper blood
1 Fruit of Memory
2 Chimera fangs
7 Anaconda scale
5 bottles of Water from Mystic pond

Now I'm so angry to my companions. I saw them heading towards the Kingdom of Blackout. Now I'm doubting so much I burst into them." WHY ARE YOU GUYS HERE?!!!!!!" I asked madly. "Umm. King Zhask, where just fin-" Gord tried to explain but cut off when I showed them the paper." NOW TELL ME! IS KING ARGUS OF KINGDOM OF BLACKOUT IS A RELATIVE OF MINE?!" I asked again not changing the mood. "Well, I think we should do it" Alice tried to whisper to Gord quietly but it's enough for me to hear. "And what would you do?" I questioned raising an eyebrow even I'm still wearing my helmet. "Still not answering?" I asked again as I spawned my pet and let my pet turn the paper into ashes. I saw the intense anger on their eyes. As I tried to ask it again, Gord dashed towards me and blew some sort of a dust on me making me fall asleep.

I woke up in a cell while being chained into a chair which I'm sitting right now. After few moments, I saw Gord and Alice walking towards me, I decided to fake sleep so I could hear them." Now he knows half of the truth! What would we do if he founds out that we just kidnapped him  from Argus which is his brother?!" Gord complaining. Now my heart feels mixed emotions.
