*knock*
"Rise ands shine buttercup". Jin slides Auroras curtains open, as she hides under her sheets. "If you don't get up I'll throw water over you". Jin laughs.
"Alright alright I'm up... how can you be in the sun anyway?" Aurora questions.
"Get ready and I'll then answer your questions". With all said Jin leaves Aurora to get ready.
Aurora then realises it's her first lesson in working with her magic, she quickly gets ready making sure not to disappoint Jin by keeping him waiting. She makes her way to find Jin in a dimly lit room.
"Are you ready?" Jin smiles.
"As I'll ever be". Aurora exhales deeply.
Aurora sits opposite Jin on the sofa, "ok, firstly I want you to relax... look at these candles in front of you... I want you to to close your eyes and envision lighting them with your magic".
"I can't... hows this going to help me light them for real?" Aurora sighs.
"Fire is a natural element, with its heat and light you can feed from it's energy, you need to feel that energy in you in order to transfer it".
Aurora relaxes, she sets her mind into concentration mode. She envisions the room in her mind especially the candles, Aurora feels the energy already in the room and then concentrates on lighting one candle.
The tiny flicker of light forms removing now faint darkness, Aurora lights another one as it starts to illuminate the room. She opens her eyes and looks towards Jin. "You can do it". He encourages.
She gives her little energy to light the candle just as she had envisioned. It lights. She feeds of the energy of the light in order to light the next candle, then all.
"Jin why are you looking at me like that?" Aurora questions.
"With all the witches that have been restricted of there powers just like you, have come to me to help enhance and grow there new powers, they did not light more than one candle, witches immediately gave up after trying for hours".
"And?"
"Aurora you are the only one to light the whole room of candles in four minutes. I didn't even ask you to light them all either. You have so much potential". He explains.
"Um Thankyou". Aurora blush's due to Jins complement.
"That's this lesson done for today, next lesson is removing light. feel free to come in here whenever".
"Thanks, um Jin".
"How do you know so much about this kind of stuff?".
Jin stops in his footsteps, and stairs into oblivion for a split second. He doesn't turn around. "My wife was a witch".
As soon as those words left his mouth Aurora felt something inside her, something broke. The word 'was' hit her harder than falling off a ten story building... 'was'.
She runs behind Jin and hugs him from his back. "I'm so sorry".
Jin turns and hugs her back. "It was a long time ago my sweet. I knew it wouldn't of lasted. I'm immortal, as she wasn't". Aurora felt Jin smile sadly.
Aurora lets go. "I'm going to die whilst Jimin lives on".
"That's if you choose another path my dear". He pats Auroras shoulder and continues to walk away.
