The Answer

This has been a year since Osomatsu's death. They can't live their lives as usual, Osomatsu is like a glue that always tightens them together.

When they bring news of Osomatsu's death to their parents, they cannot receive it well. Like their children, they also wondered what caused their eldest child to choose to end his life.

During the first few months they lived a chaotic life, but they did not want to bother their parents more. After they can master themselves, one by one they leave home because they find work that is suitable for themselves. But the real reason is to run away from home that only reminds them of the oldest brother

Karamatsu works as a waiter in a restaurant that has just opened. Because of the location a bit far from home, he rented a small apartment right in front of the restaurant where he worked. Since Osomatsu's death, he has never used his painful speaking style in front of anyone other than his family.

Choromatsu become office employees who take up a lot of their time and must be in the office immediately when needed. Therefore, even though the office where he worked was not too far from home, he chose to rent a flat house that was closer to his office.

Jyuushimatsu lives with Dr.Dekapan because of its location close to where he works. He works as a construction worker and often overtime. He no longer smiled as wide as before, but he always tried to be the sun for his family.

Todomatsu returned to work at the cafe where he used to be. Because he did not like the quiet atmosphere at home, he decided to rent an apartment close to where he worked.

Only Ichimatsu stayed in their parents' house. He works in a cat cafe close to home. He wanted to live alone but because he could not bear to leave their own parents alone and also save the cost of living he remained there.

They have rarely met and talked with each other because of their busyness. Besides that, they also felt there was something missing if only the five of them were gathered. It only brings back old memories they want to forget but on the other hand they want to always remember them.

It's a break day for Ichimatsu. He was alone at home because his parents went to relatives for a few days from yesterday. He was looking at the comic collection on the bookshelf in the room. He wanted to take a comic that he thought was interesting but his hand stopped in the middle when a pretty dull book caught his attention.

The book is among the rows of comics belonging to Osomatsu, tucked in and made you might miss it 'is the book always there all this time?' Ichimatsu thought

At first he was hesitant to take it, but curiosity managed to defeat him. He thought if it was possible that it was an old porn magazine that Osomatsu hid or maybe a book containing embarrassing poetry they had to write when they were still in school.

He took the book and frowned when he saw the cover of the book that turned out to be the diary. He was not sure whether he should open and read it or have to return it to that place. But because there was nothing he could do, he finally opened and read the book.

Yo diary,
This is the first time I've written a diary. Hahaha somehow I feel like a tacky guy now, but well, I don't care. Many people say you can ease the burden of your heart when writing it in a diary. I know if this book can't be said as a diary, but, again I don't care. If my annoying brothers know, I'm sure they will laugh at me now. That's why I will hide you my dear diary. Wait patiently about my stories, I have a feeling that I will write many things here. I guess I got here first, bye-bye.
