"Don't forget to bring your crystal replica projects next week!" said my history teacher. I didn't mind that class but still found it boring at times. Luckily it was the last class of the day, so I could return home with my friends. Galeen had been so excited for this project. We have to make replicas of the sector crystals we learnt about that day. If there was anyone in school you wanted to be friends with, it was her. Galeen would get so into every project that it became contagious and you had no choice but to be proud of yourself when it was completed.

"Obviously I am going to make sector red crystal, The values of it match my personality best." Explained Reena.
"I am thinking of either doing red, but I also like green because...
No, No, NO, you cannot do the same thing as me! Its perfect, four crystals for four friends! Each of us needs to have a different one.
Ok then, I won't! Polyas grunted in defeat.
"How about you Galeen?" I quietly remarked.
"I can take whatever is left, but I think you should be the blue crystal, Nyan. But isn't that one like super weak and doormat like? No offence." Polyas smirked.
"It is not! Even if that sector didn't seem as useful on the surface, without it all four clans would crumble!
How so?" Reena said in disbelief. "Were none of you listening in class, their main resource was water which means they supplied most of the nation's plant life, drinking water, and last but not least some incredible views. I guess so, but that's not nearly as important as armory."

Polyas was born manly, or at least that's what he tells everyone. We have always been friends, ever since his mom stuck us together after his father died. He and Reena were fairly similar when it came to personalities. They were both pretty blunt and occasionally fell into the nasty habit of being jerks. Despite this, they were my closest friends. Galeen, on the other hand, was the opposite. She seemed to appreciate both my quietness and the others short tempers. She could easily annoy the others with how childishly excited she could get while still being one of the smartest people we know. In our culture once we come of age everyone takes a maturity test. This determines when an individual can be treated as and given the responsibilities of an adult. Galeen was the only one of us not to have passed. Not because she wasn't of age or lacked the skills to complete it, but because of her imagination and relentless belief in creatures from fables. I am more timid than Polyas, in fact, we are quite similar to the lion and mouse story. I enjoy being alone or only with my closest friends, and often let others control a conversation just in case I say something stupid or off topic.

Out of the corner of my eye I notice a very familiar vehicle, though I can't put my finger on where I had seen it before. I better not get distracted if I am going to get home before dark. The distance between my neighborhood and school was a long walk. My parents had plenty to do without driving me so I didn't bother mentioning it to them.
