"I bet you'll never guess where we are." Riley said shaking as we're about to walk out of the airport.
"Well, you made me sleep and miss the announcement so I'm basically lost." I said taking my hair down.
"Well, winning your softball tournament and basically leading your team to victory, I think you'll enjoy this." We walked out of the airport and a Riley covered my eyes.
"Ri, what are you doing?" You ask smiling
"Just trust me Britt I got this." He moved his hands from my eyes and I almost started to cry.
"No way!" I yelled jumping. "No way, no way, no way!" I jumped into his arms. "You're an amazing best friend."
"Just wait, put this on and then you can thank me." He smiled that stupid cheeky smile I loved.
"Wait, this is my bathing suit and a wet suit." He wiggled his eye brows.
"We're going surfing." He smiled.
"You know that your awesome?" I smiled kissing his cheek. I walked away and went to change. As soon as I was done I met up with Riley, we both walked for a while until we got to the beach. We rented two boards and dragged them onto beach. We waxed them up and brought them into the water.
"So Britt how the heck do I do this?" He questioned.
"Come here." I grabbed his board and pulled it towards me. "Just find the right wave and stand up.
"It can't be that easy." He sad derping a bit.
"It is actually." I smiled biting my lip. "That one."
"What one?" He questioned.
"Just turn your board around and listen to me." I said sarcasm in my voice.
"Okay, fine fine."
"Now paddle!" I said out loud. Before I even realized he was off riding the wave. "Stand up!" I said riding the wave behind him. He followed what I said but then fell off his board. I giggled and jumped off mine next to his. "Nice ride." I smiled giving him a high five.
"With help from you." He said out of breathe. We walked onto the beach and sat on our boards winded. He was smiling.
"Ri, this was just the best day ever." I giggled taking off my wet suit and putting it in the sun on my board. "Can you tie this for me?" I asked holding up my top string.
"Yeah." He tied it and pulled me close by the hips.
"Riley what are you doing?" I question smiling like an idiot. I have never been so happy to have a guy touch me before.
"Brit, I have to tell you something," He said smiling and turning me around.
"Wait first I have to tell you something." I said wrapping my arms around his neck and kissed his lips. I pulled away and he was smiling.
"I was going to tell you the same thing." He kissed me back. 'What an amazing freaking day!" I said excited.
