Ring! Ring! Ring!

I opened my left eye and hit the snooze button. I covered my arm back up and fell back asleep. I heard talking outside of my room but tried to ignore it. I put a pillow over my head to block out the sound from behind the other side of my door. This time I woke up to my phone ringing. I looked at it and saw the name Alyssa♡ written across the screen. I slide the green call button to the left before saying hello.

"Hey babe. I was wondering if you wanted to get some lunch. Well me bringing it to you."

"Sounds good. By the way Good morning princess." I said trying to pretend I wasn't just awakened.

"You just woke up didn't you?"

"How'd you know that?"

"Nash. Come on. We've been dating for almost a year already. I know all of your tricks. Also it's two in the afternoon." Alyssa said through the phone.

"You know me so well. Anyways good afternoon princess. Can you bring me some Panera?"

"Thanks. And yes. Your usual?"

"Please."

"Okay. I'm going to get going now."

"Alright see you soon. Love you."

"Not possible." I could tell Alyssa was smiling.

"Yes possible." I told her.

I hung up the phone and took a deep breath in. I quickly got out of bed and padded across the hall to the bathroom. I turned the shower to warm and got in. The water hitting my body and making me wake up a bit more. I ran my fingers through my wet hair before grabbing the shampoo and putting it through my hair. I did the same with the conditioner and then washed my body with soap and water.

When I finished I grabbed a towel and dried myself before wrapping it around my waist. I walked over to the sink and brushed my teeth. After that I walked out and back to my room. I pulled out a pair of boxers and slid them onto my body. I found a pair of khaki shorts and a white tank top with a view of California on it. After I put my outfit on I dried my hair with the towel and brushed it out. Putting the towel back in the bathroom I made my way downstairs. The house was quiet. Really quiet. I walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the counter.

Nash, I didn't feel like waking you up so early so everyone else and I went to run some errands. I'll bring you home something. Please clean up after you eat. Text me of anything. Xoxo Mom.

My mom was always looking out for us. I smiled and walked to the livingroom taking a seat on the couch. Turning the tv on I got comfortable. Ridiculousness popped up on the screen. Justin Bieber's face popped up on the screen. The door bell rang and I heard the door open. The sound of shuffling bags became clearer with each step. Then a familiar figure came into focus. Alyssa.

I got off the couch and walked over to her and took the bags from her hands. Setting it on the coffee table I walked to her, wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her. Her hands on my cheeks. When I pulled away I saw her blondish brown hair curled perfectly. Her make-up in place. I grabbed her hand and walked to where the food sat.

"You look beautiful today." I told her.

"Thank you babe. And you look...cute." She said giggling.

"Why thank you. So how's your day going?"

"Better now that I'm here with you."

I smiled at her and took a bite out of my flat bread. The taste melting in my mouth. I looked up to see the tv was playing a commercial. We ate in silence for awhile until I broke the news about going on tour.

"But Nash. You just got home."

"This is my job. I have to go. Plus I want to see the boys. Seeing Cameron yesterday made me think of all the fun times."

"What about us?" Alyssa asked.

"We're still going to be together."

"Do you not remember last time we tried this?"

"What?"

"We almost broke up."

"Key word is almost." I told her.

"No need for your attitude Grier."

"Look. I don't want to fight. Especially since we barely get to see each other." I told her as I scooted closer.

Wrapping my arm around her shoulder I heard a tiny whimper escape her mouth. She was crying. I lifted her cheek up and looked her in the eyes. With my left hand I wiped the tears away. Softly kissing her forehead. She rested her head on my shoulder and I could hear the rhythm of her breathing becoming slower and slower.

We watched a few episodes of Modern Family. I laid on the couch with Alyssa in my arms. Every now and then I would slightly blow air into her ear. I could tell she was getting irritated but I continued. Wherever she got mad she would laugh because to her, 'I can't be taken seriously'. We ended up having a tickle war.

"I have to go." She said through breaths.

"Babe. Don't go." I begged.

"I have to go to work. Tomorrow?"

"I have plans."

"What are you doing?"

"Photo shoot."

"Oh. Okay. Text me later though okay."

"I will." I told her as I planted a kiss on her lips.

I watched her run across the street with her head down. Got in her car and left right away. It was boring being home alone so I texted my best friend Liv. We met at a Meet-and-Greet during tour. I gave her my number and we hung out after. She was sweet and caring. And she also lived in North Carolina too.

Wanna hang? I'm home alone and bored.

An instant reply.

Sure. Any specifics?

I thought about it. And then an idea popped in my head.

Let's go to an acting class.

Sounds good. 15 minutes.

I got up and cleaned my mess up and went to go get some shoes on. Charging my phone while I got ready. I can't lie. I've always had a crush on Liv. Especially the first time I saw her. Her curly hair, almost as curly as Mahogany's, sat still on her shoulders while she waited in line. Wearing a Magcon Tour shirt with some denim jeans. Her sun kissed tan fit perfectly. She smelt so good. Her smile was mesmerizing.

I heard the doorbell ring and I grabbed my phone and keys. As I walked down the stairs I almost tripped. This would be the first time in a while that Liv and I get to hangout alone. I opened the door and right away she gave me a hug. Hugging her back I felt myself smiling.

"Ready?"

"Of course." I said shutting the door behind us.

"She linked her arm into mine and we walked down the driveway. I opened the drivers side for her and waited till she got in. I shut the door and jogged to the passengers side. Today was gonna be a good day.
