Finally after another twelve hour shift at work I can leave. I don't know how to say no when someone asks me to cover for them so they can go party on a Friday night. I'm only 19 and already don't have a life.

I roll my eyes as I walk down the sidewalk and attempt to untangle my headphones so I can listen to music on my two mile walk to home. I put my music on shuffle and just listen to my normal playlist. The first song that plays makes me smile and instantly takes away my sour mood, 'Delete' by the band Story Untold. They're a really cool band I seen play at a music festival I went to with my friend and I instantly fell in love.

I was so distracted by the music that I didn't notice someone was beside me, until they pulled me into the alleyway, a block from my apartment complex.

I couldn't see a face, or a body shape for that matter. I know I wasn't so clumsy that I stumbled over my feet while walking and ended up in an extremely dark alleyway. I roll my eyes for the hundredth time tonight and go to walk out of the back way. I took one step and was pulled back by my hood on my jacket. That's when I saw the figure I was looking for. Of course I couldn't make out a specific person, it's a dark figure. But I did know it was someone who was here with me and I wasn't alone.

I took in a sharp breath as I felt my headphones being ripped out of my ears and I heard his voice. The voice that sent shivers down my spine and makes my body tense. The voice that's rough but soothing at once, as if he could make me fall asleep by talking to me. Of course if he didn't talk how he always does around me.

"It's nice to see you again, Luna. You know. It's a bit rude to have both headphones in while someone is talking to you." I heard his voice whisper in my ear from behind me.

"R." (R is what she knows Remington as, it'll make more since in later chapters as to why, I promise.) I said as I allowed myself to let out the breath I was holding. I felt his hands grab my waist pulling me closer so my back hit his chest.

"That's not my name, pet," he turned my body so I was facing him. "You know who I am. Now, tell me what's my real name."

"I'm not calling you that name. I haven't called you 'the void' since we first spoken. Only people who fear you do, I obviously don't if I'm willingly standing here talking to you R. You don't scare me anymore."

I don't dare look into his eyes. This is the first time I ever tried to stand up to him. I admit, he scares me a lot. This boy has a secret no one else knows but me and his brothers. All I can really say is, the supernatural really does live amongst humans.

"Oh, but I do scare you my little Luna, my sweet little pup. You can't even look me in the eyes. Just look at me and say you aren't scared."

His hand grabbed my chin and forced my eyes on his own. His height towered over me making me shrink back. His eyes turned from a beautiful, almost black, brown eyes to a vivid, shiny blue. I wanted to run. I've only seen this happen once, the day we meet. He said he was "changing" and he needed me. Now I know what he meant by changing and needing me. He needed me to have sex with him, or let him feed off my blood.

"I wasn't talking about calling me that either pup. I want you to call me master."

I pushed off of him and backed away quickly. I didn't know what to say. Master?! Why would I call him that? He doesn't own me. Is that why he calls me pup and pet? Because he wants to treat me like a pet and own me?

"I don't own you, not yet at least. And as for the pet names, I don't want to treat you like a pet. You're just like a little puppy and that suits you so much better than the cliche "Kitten" pet name."
