The Call

The veteran 9-1-1 operator named Jordan Turner receives a call about burglary.

Jordan: 9-1-1. Where's your emergency?

And the connection starts.

Caller: Ahhmm.. I've got burglars breaking into a house next to mine, 18 Baxter.

Knowing that it's quite a bad case, Jordan already responded after listening to the caller.

Jordan: Okay, 18 Baxter. Is that your place or theirs?

Caller: Theirs.

Jordan: Okay, is that between Gary and Hemlock?

Caller: Yep.

Jordan: Okay, what color is the house?

Caller: It's a pale blue

And the caller thinks he can put an end to the scene so he asked:

Caller: I got a shotgun. You want me to stop them?

Jordan disagree.

Jordan: Nope, don't want you to that.

Caller: You sure?

And Jordan replies while typing information that she will say to the dispatched cops.

Jordan: I'm sure. I'm sending officers right now, sir

And Jordan receives another call about a mother stabbed.

Caller #2: My mom's been stabbed.

Jordan asked the caller who stabbed her mother and the caller replied quickly.

Jordan: Okay, do you know who stabbed her?

Caller #2: My uncle.

Jordan: Okay, and where?

Caller #2: In the leg.

Jordan wants to make sure the caller's uncle will not commit any criminal acts so she asked something.

Jordan: Is your uncle still there?

Caller #2: Uh-huh.

Jordan starts to dispatch police and parademics.

Jordan: I'm sending the police and paramedics right away. Okay?

Caller #2: Okay. She's pretty pissed off.

Jordan: Yeah, well I'm sure she is.

Jordan receives another 9-1-1 call which she thought that it could possibly a suicidal.

Jordan: Chris, do you understand what I'm telling you?

She is speaking while Chris the caller is shouting to someone.

Chris: I don't wanna go to prison.

Jordan is convincing Chris to put his gun down.

Jordan: Chris, put the gun down. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Chris: I didn't mean to do it.
