[ Lilah's Pov ]

I had my headphones in as I walked down the hall and I felt a tap on my shoulder which caused me to quickly turn around.

"What?" my tone screamed bitchiness but I didn't care at all. I was greeted with Colton once again, he seemed confused, frustrated and overall upset.

"Jesus can you be nice to me for a second and just tell me where room 103 is!" he exclaimed.

I raised an eyebrow as this was the first time someone had raised their voice at me in quite sometime. I smirked and nodded. "Hmm well since you're getting loud with me, I don't think i can anymore."

He rolled his eyes and I saw him ball up his fists.
"god people are so predictable." I thought to myself.

"If you even think you're going to lay a finger on me or do anything to me I will make this year a living hell." I smugly spoke and he relaxed his hands looking defeated. "I'll make sure you're afraid of me, got it?" I lowered my tone to be more intimidating as I stepped a bit closer.

He took a baby step back and nodded. "Can you just tell me where room 103 is." he asked again but a bit softer.

"Down the hall make a left go down the staircase to the right it's the first room at the bottom." I said and with that I turned on my heel walking to my meet up point.

Now you all can call me an asshole or whatever you want but I just liked to fight. The rush was amazing, having power and seeing people do as you please. God I just loved it. I smiled and approached where i've stood for the last three years waiting for Justin.

"Hey Lilah!!" I heard him call from behind and turned around.

"Hey J." I smiled wide and pulled him into a hug which he returned quickly. "What's up? how was your morning?" I pulled back from the hug and fixed my top while I waited for him to answer.

"Well this morning I tried to find you but you were literally no where to be seen..." he began and I chuckled, "but other than that it has been boring and uneventful." he sighed.

"Well I slept in and didn't get here until five minutes before the bell rang." I explained as I headed toward third period. "So that's why you haven't seen me around."

He nodded and listened to me speak. Here's the thing about Justin. He's always been super attentive to what I had to say and he's always cared about what I had to say. No matter if I was in the right, wrong, or if the conversation was boring, he was always interested.

Now i'm not blind, I know the kid likes me but I don't know if I feel the same. Dating has never ever been my thing and I planned on keeping it that way. I felt like it was useless. Very few would probably ever be able to sweep me off my feet.

But as I always have, I went along with what the other wanted and basically dated him without actually being asked out.

"So yeah that's why I got my car taken away. You're probably going to need to take me home and pick me up. I'll pay gas." Justin finished and that was the only part of the conversation I had actually caught.

"Of course, no need to pay for gas unless I really need some money okay?" I replied pretending I had caught the whole conversation.

He smiled and reached out his hand to intertwine his fingers with mine. I put my hand out as well and linked ours moving closer to him smiling as we made it to the third floor where our class was.

After school was over I was hanging out front waiting for Justin to come so I can go home. I promised I would give him a ride but he was taking forever.

After a few moments I heard footsteps approach behind me. "About damn time I don't have all day!" I turned and was greeted for the fourth time today with Colton.

"Uh what?" I was clearly confused and must have been making a funny face because I saw a small smile creep onto his face.

"And what do you want?" I asked ask I crossed my arms standing tall.

He repeated my actions standing more confidently himself. "Well I wanted to know if you'd like to go out sometime and get coffee or something?"

"Yeah bud she's not gonna like that." Justin spoke as he approached us, he placed a hand on Colton's shoulder, "now walk the other way."

I chuckled softly, "Now Justin, what if I was going to say yes? Hmm?" I teased and I watched his expression change to annoyed and Colton's change to hope. "Of course we all know that won't happen. So leave." I gestured in the opposite direction of me and the boy quickly hurried off.

"Damn that fast? didn't you say he was new?" Justin asked as he grabbed my hand, holding it while we walked to my car.

"Yeah he just came here earlier and he's been bothering me all day. I already threatened him but clearly he's no quitter." I rolled my eyes and let go of Justin's hand as I got into the drivers side.

"Guess guys can't resist you cause your that damn perfect." he flirted with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes as my cheeks grew warm and were dusted with a soft red color.

"Shut up or i'm making you walk home. got me?" I warned as I turned the car on speeding out of the parking lot and toward my house.

Justin decided that he was going to come over to my house after a bit of convincing me. We pulled up to my house and I got out quickly, Justin on my tail.

"What do you wanna do?" he asked as I unlocked my house and headed up to my room. We lived in a comfortable home. It was me, my mother, my father, and my two year old twin siblings. Mom really stopped paying attention to me or what I did when the twins were born and mostly same with dad. I basically got away with whatever the fuck I want because their shitty parenting.

"I dunno what do you want to do?" I replied smiling as I entered my room and I threw my bag on the floor.

"Actually. I want to tell you something L..." his voice went softer and I turned around to look at him.

"'Sup?" I asked as I looked up, I watched his emotions change drastically to a very serious expression.

"I don't know if this is obvious or not but...I really like you and I want to know if you'd maybe want to go out with me?" He asked, avoiding all type of eye contact. I watched as he fiddled with his thumbs and looked over my head but in my general direction to keep a bit of eye contact.

I felt the heat rush to my cheeks since this was the first time I genuinely considered dating someone. Now i've had boys hit me up and or hit on me but I never felt any type of way back and with Justin, I did.

I don't know if it's because we had known each other since we were just kids or what but something drove me to nod and that's what I did.

"Sure." I nodded and looked at him with a genuine smile.

"Yes?" he exclaimed looking beyond excited.

"Yes Justin Warlock I'll be your girlfriend." I spoke enjoying the words that cake out of my mouth. "boyfriend..." I thought to myself. "Well that's new..."
