*6 PM*

I heard a rustling in the leaves. I turned around to look at the window, but nothing's there. I was a bit suspicious, but I decided to let it go,

I continued working on the piece that would test my students. This was one of the fun parts about teaching music.

I heard the rustling again.

And again.

That's it. I'm checking.

I went through the back door of our house, and looked around the backyard, the sides of the house, and the front. Nothing.

Probably just a squirrel or a stray cat.

I headed towards the door, but something grabbed me and put a handkerchief over my nose and mouth. Everything faded to black..

*Scott's POV*

"This is unsolvable!"

"Just keep trying! You're not one to give up, right?!"

"I know! But this.. it's impossible!"

I heard my co-workers screaming at each other again. This happened five days a week since this case came up. It was about people getting kidnapped, then buried alive. I don't know about you, but this stuff is creepy. I was glad I wasn't chosen to be in on this.

Until another one of my co-workers, Max, came up to me.

"Dude, I don't think you want to see this.. but you need to." Max said.

I gave him a confusing look, but I took the phone he was holding anyway. I played the video.

"Hello, Sir Scott. You're probably wondering. Who am I, how do I know your name, why am I showing you this. Well I'll tell you why."

My heart was skipping beats.

The camera turned to show...

"Kirstie...." I whispered. They were in a graveyard.

"See this girl? She's worthless. I don't see anything useful in her. Don't you just want to..." he paused.

"..bury her alive?" he laughed and evil laugh. I balled up my fist.

"Don't worry. I'll do it for you. Haha..

"Oh wait, what's that? You don't want to? Well... too bad. By the time you're seeing this.. she's already six feet under.

"Wanna save her? You got nine hours before she," he started making fake 'out of breath' noises,"Runs. Out. Of. Air."

The video ended. I stared into space.

"I have to save her, Max. I know that place, I just have to find out where she is!" I exclaimed, panicked. Max tried to calm me down, but I know that he knows it won't work.

The love of my life is buried six feet under the ground. And I have nine hours to save her.
