~ Captured by a Gazelle ~

A little gazelle had fallen for a lion

The gazelle hides behind a bush

Not a afraid no, but shy of the him

She daydreams everyday of her King

A King whom once she hated as a fawn

And as she grew the lion captured her heart

And melted the ice within it

The gazelle would stare from far away

At a lion she thought never liked her anyway

As for the mighty lion he fell for her too

He'd stare at her but when she'd see him

He looks away very shy

As she hurries from his thorny eyes

For it's known that a lion's stare is not so safe

And it's said that a lion never learned how to love

He never does show a sign of mercy

Nor shows a sign of passion

He shows everyone that he owns a cold heart

The two met once in the darkest woods

He was hunting and she was lost

He saw her and she saw him

Sparks flew? Too cliché

He greeted her and she was surprised

She saw something no one saw

Something new, she though it never existed

He was vulnerable around her

It was like he was caught in a web

He saw something in her from the beginning

He never knew what it was

She was not a coward gazelle

She didn't run away this time

The gazelle stared into his dark eyes

The eyes that held many emotions

She read them like a transparent glass

The lion and the gazelle's eyes were one

He was a lion and she was a gazelle

Every animal said they were insane

How did two different animals love?

One who could hunt her down

One who must flee from him

They were different with the same spirit

Their spirits collided to become one love

That's how they made the best couple

That's the story of the jock and geek

They once despised one another

Now they forever love each other
