The Infinity Stone Children (Marvel)

Chapter 2: The Meeting

2 Weeks Later

Strange has been searching for weeks about any sign of these Infinity Stone Children, but with no luck. He was starting to get frustrated, until he finally got a lead. People have been searching for years and years for these children, but he feels as though he found them, right here in New York. Wong had explained that it was the grand master that wrote the original page after years of searching. Strange looked through her belongs and found how she tracked the children here, New York. As he walked down the street with Wong, he became nervous. What were these children going to be like?
Strange knocked on the door, moments later, a young man, with shaggy black hair and piercing blue eyes stood there. He was a muscular man, almost to the point where he matched Steve Rogers. The man crossed his arms over his chest. "May I help you?" He asked. Strange looked up at the man, he had a scar over his left eye, causing him to look even more dangerous than he was. "We are here to speak to you.. and the rest of the Infinity Stone children." Strange spoke clearly, the man tried to slam the door close. Strange stopped it with his foot. The man growled. "I could crush your foot right now if I wanted to." Strange raised an eyebrow "and that would only do what exactly? I am here because I need your help. Thanos is coming." The man stood up straight. Looking strange right in the eye, he spoke. "Come in." The man opened the door more. "You can call me Jeff by the way." Strange raised an eyebrow again. "Jeff is an odd name for someone that has been alive since the beginning of time." Jeff  chuckled. "It's easier to pronounce than my real name." Wong turned to Jeff. "And what name is that?" Jeff shook his head. "Johnathamiona" Wong's eyes widened slightly at the name. "That is a mouthful."
Jeff led the duo up some old stairs, leading to a studio apartment. There sat 2 other men. One man had dark skin, a leaner body than the rest of them, and bright green eyes goes along with his brown hair. Another man, slightly overweight, had a full red bread and head of hair, had bright yellow eyes.
The green eyes man looked up, clearing tense. "Jeff, who are these people." He says more as a demand than an actual question. Jeff smirked. "They are here to speak about Thanos." Strange steppes forward. "Doctor Stephen Strange and this is Wong." He says as he gestured to his companion beside him.
"This is Hunter," Jeff said as he gestured to the green eyed man, "and this is Casper." Again,  gesturing to the man with the yellow eyes.
The men all sat on the large couch centred in the middle of the large room. The couch was old, and blew dust up when sat on. Strange looked at them. "If you are the stone children, where is the rest of them?" Strange asked. Hunter shook his head. "Dead or missing." Hunter says simply. Jeff interrupted. "What he means is, Connor, the man who had the core of the reality Stone is dead." Jeff sighed "and Steven is dead, the man that held the power stone.. went insane and committed suicide a few days ago." Strange was in shock to hear this. "And the last one, the soul stone child?" Casper snickered. "That bitch? Haven't seen her in years." Jeff sighed again. "She went rouge a years ago, went on a rebellious road. She left us... when was it?" He asked, looking at Hunter. Hunter shook his head "I don't know, when did Shakespeare die?"

Wong looked at the men "that long ago? And yet no one has found her?" Casper shook his head, "We have no idea where she is. Most of them time we can detect each other but.. she disconnected herself from the stone years ago." Strange raised an eyebrow "you can do that?" Jeff nodded "it's easy really, but it shouldn't be done. It is.. dangerous to say the least." Casper snickered again "that's why she likes it."
"I don't understand." Strange said after a moment. "Why are you not protectors of the stones?" Jeff raised an eyebrow, looking at his brothers for help. Casper is the one to jump in "because.. the world will end if the stones were connected to their core once again."
Jeff suddenly grabbed his chest, hunter and Casper had seen this before. "Jeff..?" Strange said uneasy. "Johnathamiona" hunter said, jumping up, stepping away from Jeff who had collapsed onto the ground. Strange stood up with Wong. "Go!" Hunter yelled as Jeff tackled him.
Strange and Wong had to do something, but Casper pushed them out with the mind stone core. Strange tried to get back in but it was no luck, it was a fortress. They waited outside, trying wait and see what would happen.
Hunter finally came out, exhausted, blood dripping down his face. He walked over to Strange. "He is dead." He says simply. "What happened?" Strange asked. Hunter snickered. "Thanos has another stone. That is what happens. The stone has found a new master. Our cores freak out, causing us to go insane. He committed suicide just like Steven." Hunter said on the curb as he watched cars go by. Strange sat beside him, wanting to tell him that it was ok. "I know where she is." Hunter looked at strange. "She is your only hope to stop him. She is more powerful than anyone in this world." Strange moved closer. "What is her name?" He asked. Hunter looked at him. "Her name? Her modern name is Ava. Just be careful around her... you never know what she is up to."
