Hail Hydra (Steve Rogers) part 1

⚠️Warnings: Hydra Steve, Swearing, Betrayal and some sad ass feels⚠️

It had been two weeks since S.H.I.E.L.D fell it was now just a handful of Agents run extra secretly by Coulson and The Avengers who were still together fighting against the threat of Hydra.
It wasn't normal anymore everything had been completely changed the day of the fall, Fury had gone dark considering he was meant to be dead, you were no longer with Coulson's team because Fury thought your powers could be used in the Avengers and Grant Ward one of your best friends was a Hydra Agent the whole time.
You were chilling on the couch with three laptops one scanning for all known Hydra Agents, another searching for possible allies and the third backing up every S.H.I.E.L.D file you have on three seperate encrypted hard-drives. You were watching the laptop that was working on the Drives when you felt an arm wrap around your shoulder, Steve your best friend had joined you on the couch. Something felt different about being near him you suddenly had a knot in your stomach and felt very anxious but you pushed it aside because he was your best friend after all and Captain America what could he be hiding that would make you feel like this. You were talking to him about movies and books when Natasha came in and asked if Steve could leave because she needed to talk to you in private the anxious feeling was back. Steve looked at you as in asking if you were fine with him leaving almost like he wanted you to let him stay which was weird usually he'd just leave without a second look.
"Steve, can you please leave I need to speak to y/n in private." Nat emphasised the word private
Steve looked at Natasha then looked at me "Steve, can you please leave Natasha said she needed to speak to me in private." You said politely with that he left.
Nat pulled up the security cameras on her phone made sure he was in room then very carefully searched the room for bugs. This behaviour was normal when she on missions but not when she just needed to talk the anxiety was heightening and the knot in your stomach was becoming tighter.
"Nat do you want me to disable the cameras in this room." You whispered to her realising something had to be very wrong for her to be in super spy mode around you
"Yes, and make sure the audio from the ones in the hall are taken out to." She whispered back
You grabbed your laptop that you were using to look for allies and started the hack to turn off the cameras in the lounge room and cut the audio from the cameras in the hallway.
"Okay Nat it's done cameras are off in here and I have replaced it with a video off us sitting on the couch chatting like normal and the audio is off in the cameras in the hallways." You said with a slight tone of confusion
"Okay good,what I'm about to tell you stays between us okay." Natasha said now sitting across from you with a hand resting on your knee
"Of course Nat now tell me what's wrong." You were really worried and slightly scared now
"Steve he's- how do I put this- Steve is a Hydra Agent." Nat told you stuttering a little bit
Tears were forming in your eyes from the betrayal and from the look on her face you knew she wasn't lying.
"How could be do this to us?" You said shakily
Nat wrapped you in a hug "I know it's okay, we'll talk about this later because I can him coming back you have to act normal okay? Just act like you don't know." Nat whispered into your hair
You didn't  reply because when you opened your eyes Steve was standing at door and you couldn't let anything slip about you knowing.
