'mom?' jackson shouted, gazing outside at the darkened atmosphere. his mother slowly walked towards him placing a hand on his shoulder. 'jackson, i think we need to talk, come to the kitchen.' his mother orders, pulling him inside, shutting the front door. jackson didn't argue as he knew it would result in some sort of punishment. his followed his mother to the kitchen, seeing his father with his head in his hands, groaning in a frustrated manner. 'am i going to tell him or are you going to simon?' his mother asks, slamming her hand in the marble island they're seated at.
'tell me what?' jackson questions, his gaze flicking between his mothers and his fathers. his father removes his head from his hands before staring deeply at jackson's mother. 'elizabeth,' his father began, his eyes growing soft. 'you don't get to elizabeth me! who's going to tell him?!' his mother shouts, causing his father to grow angry. 'how the hell should i know! we've never decided!' his father retorted, standing up from his chair, pacing around the kitchen. 'tell me what?!' jackson shouts, abruptly standing up from his chair, causing t to knock over. his parents gaze flicks over to him suddenly growing awkward.
'we're leaving you.' his mother says, looking at him with unapologetic eyes. 'leaving me? what's that supposed to mean?' jackson questioned. 'for gods sake kid, we're leaving this house to find safety and we can't take you with us. you're old enough you can protect yourself.' his father explains, suddenly grabbing things together in a large duffel bag that was placed on the counter. 'are you fucking serious? i'm your child! and you're fucking leaving me?! what sort of parents are you?!' jackson shouts, slamming his fists against the island. his mothers facial expression grows angered as she walks towards her child. swinging her sharp hand towards his face, she abuses the skin of his cheek with multiple smacks, before stopping. 'watch your language jackson.' she demands, glaring into his eyes.
jackson lets out a chuckle before moving away from his mother. 'i can do whatever the fuck i want now! you both are leaving me so i may as well not even having parents anymore. you're both pieces of shit!' jackson shouts, he slams the ground with his feet, sprinting up to his room, quickly packing a suitcase, mumbling curses to himself. 'fucking parents. they can't even call themselves parents. what if i die? it'll be all their fault.' he mumbled, zipping the zipper of his suitcase, dragging it down the stairs.
'if one of you fucking die somehow,' jackson began, seeing his parents leaving the house with their baggage. they look over to him with curious eyes, wondering what else he had to say. 'don't come to try and find me, cause i sure as hell won't help you pieces of garbage.' he finished his statement, watching his parents expressions grow angry as they slam the front door. jackson scoffed before moving into the kitchen to supply himself of food, only to be greeted with an empty fridge. 'fucking parents.'
