Chapter 7

Queen's POV
3 Days Later

Clarence and I were out for lunch at Zippy's. It was so warm, soft music played in the back,and I quietly drank on my slush. I looked to the side and saw him staring at me.

"Whaat." I hid my face behind my arm and continued to drink my slush.

"Yo don't do that." He laughed and moved my arm.

"So where is CJ at?"

He leaned in with his elbows on the table, really engaged in the conversation.

"Oh they said they were gonna have to keep him for a little while longer, but I'm not worried I know he's in good hands." He nodded and leaned back.

"Hello, are you two ready to order." A young girl pranced over to our table with a bright smile. We nodded.

"Can I get the Double bacon burger with extra fries and Mayo?" She nodded. "And for you?" She leaned in my direction."Um I'll have the same." She wrote on her pad and walked into the kitchen.

"I'm gonna go to the restroom I'll be right back."I got up and headed to the restroom.

As I passed the last booth, a big man in all black grabbed my arm causing me to jump."What are you doing!" I said loudly.

"Oh sorry, thought you were someone else." I snatched my arm away from him then went into the restroom with my guard up.When I came out the guy wasn't there anymore, and Clarence was sitting there calmly with his mind focused in his phone.When are food came, I bowed my head to pray and noticed that Clarence just went straight to his food.

"Hey?" He looked up at me in a curious way and I motion for him to grab my hand so we could pray. 

He put his fries down and grabbed my hands. He hesitantly bowed his head then finally closed his eyes.

"Dear Lord, we would like to pray that this food does not harm us in anyway. We would like you to bless the people that don't have shelter,food and water. That they may lean on you in hard times. I pray that you protect my son from any evil and that you protect us also. In Jesus name,Amen."

"You go to church?" He bit into a fry

"Yea, I try to go every Sunday but things are really making it a struggle to do so, Why?" I bit into two fries and then took a bite of my burger.

"Most of the strippers I know ain't really big on the church scene." He bucked his eyebrows when he said Church.

"Honestly, I don't wanna dance anymore. It's not my scene." I shrugged. His eyes got bright but then went back to normal."Then just quit." He shrugged.

"But I have to provide for my family."

"I got you. Just listen to me, quit while you still got the chance." I really wanted to ask him why he was so serious about me quitting but I just left it alone.My phone vibrated in my pocket and I saw Airi was trying to FaceTime me.

Before I could talk she went A wall.

"BITCH, where the hell you at! I thought you got kidnapped, or killed! You can't be playing with my-" she paused "Girl are you out with somebody?" She tilted her head down.
