Lost Then Found (Colby Brock)

(Also in this world Elton and Amanda have not broken up. I respect that they have in real life. I mean no disrespect by keeping them together in the story. They will probably break up at some point in the story, but if you read the last chapter, now isn't really the time.)

Colby's POV

We pull up to the hospital. Sam turns off the camera after before getting out of the car. We carry the girls in. A nurse sees us, she calls for nurses to get beds for the girls then comes over to us. "What happened!?!"  she asks as other nurses take the girls from us and take them further into the hospital. "You're not gonna believe us, but it's true we have it on tape," I say. "Ok?" she says confused. We explain the whole story. She seems very confused. We show her the recording. "OMG! That actually happened!?!?" She says very shocked. "Yeah, why would we be here if it was fake?" I ask. "Ok, do you think you can come with me? I have to put it in the system and I don't know if I fully understand." She asks I can tell she is trying to stay calm even though she has never seen anything like this. "Sure!" I say. We all follow her and help her put it into the system. After a few minutes, a doctor comes out and starts yelling at her. "Is this supposed to be some kind of joke!?!?" He yells showing her the screen. I walk over knowing it's obviously about us. "It's not a joke it's what happened, we have it on camera," I say calmly to him. He turns to me and requests to see the recording. I grab the camera and show him the recording. "You must have edited that or faked it!" he says in disbelief. "1. We came straight here, and the recording is still on the camera, so we didn't edit it, 2. if we were faking it would we be here right now and freaking out?" I say a little annoyed but trying to stay calm. "Fine, I believe you and I will tell all the other doctors its true, I'm sorry for not believing you." He says. "It's ok, I mean I didn't believe it at first!" I say trying to smile, even though all that is going through my mind is I hope Celeste is ok, I doubt they haven't ever dealt with this kind of thing, what if they don't know how to fix it? What if she doesn't wake up? What if she dies? It would be all my fault, it was me who convinced her to come if I hadn't convinced her to maybe she wouldn't be in that room right now?  I try to push these thoughts aside, but even then I can't fully get rid of them. The nurse tells us we can go see them while the doctors are figuring out what to do. We go to where they all are. They are all in one room. Devyn is the farthest away, then Amanda, then Kat, and Celeste is the closest to the door. I see Celeste laying there. She seems so lifeless, but I can tell she is still alive by the monitors, but still, I hate seeing her like this, when there is nothing I can do!  At that moment I feel my eyes start to fill with tears. I walk over to her side. I grab her limp hand and kneel down beside the bed. I put my face on her shoulder. Next thing I know I'm crying and I can't stop. "You are gonna be you have to be, I need you!" I whisper kinda loud at least for a whisper, through sobs. I sit there crying for a minute. Then I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up and see Sam. I stand up, and wipe away the tears. He pulls me into a hug. "It will be ok dude. They are all very strong women they will be ok." He say hugging me. Eventually we pull away. I feel better. "thanks dude" I say. "no problem!" He says giving me a weak smile, I return the smile. The doctor comes in and says we can stay but we have to sit in the chairs against the other wall. We all go sit down. Then doctor check their stats. Then turns to us. "We are going to keep them overnight, we are going to do everything we can, but they don't have any external injuries, we cleaned up the blood we could from their ears, but the actual injury is in their ears, luckily from what we can tell it's not to bad, so we can't do much else till they wake up. I am sorry to tell you guys this, but you guys can't stay with them. Only spouses and family can stay overnight with a patient, but your guy's numbers are on their files so if anything happens we will call you, you guys can come back tomorrow though, visiting hours start at 10 am." He says. I wish I could stay with her! I am too emotional to talk. Elton speaks up, "Ok thank you, please let us know if even the smallest thing happens." The doctor nods and leaves. We all stand up. I go over to Celeste and kiss her forehead, I take off the hoodie I was wearing and put it over her, to provide at least a little more warmth. Then we all leave. We all drive home.  Elton comes to our house, that way we can all get there as early as possible tomorrow. We get to the house. Jake and Aaron greet us. We had texted them about what happened at the hospital. They start talking a little with Sam, Corey, and Elton. I go up to my room. I don't really wanna talk to anyone right now, other than Celeste. I set my stuff down, change quickly into a pair of pajama pants, then I get in bed. I set my phone next to me but I make sure I have it loud so that if they call I will hear it. Luna jumps up in bed with me. I roll around for a while trying to sleep. I can't sleep the bed feels so empty. Then my phone starts ringing. I instantly pick it up. It's the hospital...

Sorry about the cliffhanger (again)! But unlike the last time, I am going to start writing the next part right now. I just really wanted to get the chapter up tonight, so I figured that having another cliffhanger wouldn't be that bad as long as I don't wait months to upload again. So I am actually going to start writing the next chapter right now, so that should be up soon!
