Grace's POV
Hurry up Grace!" We're sooo late for class!
"Sorry! I suck at running" I called back
I slowed down as I saw the last person before me enter the classroom.
I quietly walked in and to the classroom and to my disbelief I saw that I was the final person (since Christine already arrived) and there was only one desk left, with no one in it at the front. I walked slowly as I felt my face heat up, in a way I was really glad I was by myself but I felt lonely because I usually liked to sit with people.

I whipped my head around to see Christine silently swearing (or I thought she was) because she was sitting next to two boys who you can easily tell they're annoying as soon as you see them. I felt better about where I was seated but felt horrible for Christine.
Somehow my mind and eyes led me to that Asian girl who I now learned was called 'Renni' because of roll call. Her eyes seemed to be drooping lower and lower until she seemed to be sleeping, her head dipped and hit the centre of the table quite noisily but no one seemed to notice or even care.
Her absurd actions made me giggle softly so no one heard me and concentrated back on the the lesson.
"Hello? Can we come in?" Questioned a teacher at the doorway
I remember from the introduction assembly that he was Mr Kennedy, our year advisor and standing slightly behind him was another Asian girl, with long, wavy black hair with a small tint of brown at the bottom. She wore the same uniform
as mine and was picking at her nails. Her hair swayed slightly as she rocked nervously back and forth.
"This is Sierra. She will be in this class. Hope you kids are having a great first day!" Stated Mr Kennedy
"Well, there is a seat next to this girl over here Sierra." Informed Miss Karning (The teacher) pointing straight to the seat next to me.
She steadily paced to me but slightly waved at someone behind me. I looked back to see who it was and turns out she waved to Renni and that other Asian girl, Vinnie
"Hi"
"Hey....."
I briskly moved my stuff more on to my side, to give space for her things. It was extremely awkward, I wanted to talk to her but I was afraid to. But, I just gave it a shot,
"Sooo, umm, who are you friends with?" I silently questioned, I was hoping she would reply and say Renni.
"Ummm, in this class, my friends are Renni and Vinnie. How about you?" She answered
Just hearing her name made me blush and think about her long, thick luscious hair. Black as the night sky. Her pretty/cute face, sleeping of concentrated to the lesson, I didn't actually care, it was cute.
I suddenly remembered the question Sierra asked me.
"Oh! Um, I'm friends with Christine." I shortly replied.
"Ok...."
The rest of the lesson went pretty fast and soon enough, the bell rang. I caught up with Christine and peered at Renni then walked out.

Renni's POV
"Oh no! We have to sit separately Vinnie!" I exclaimed silently so no one could hear it except us.
"I guess that's what we get for being the last people to enter." She responded
I plopped myself in the seat at the corner of the room. Then she came in,
"Oh! You must be Grace." Miss Karning said
She shyly nodded and sat down. So, her name was  Grace, such a pretty name, she matches her name perfectly. A cute petite size, an adorable bob that just brushes her shoulders and a fringe that grew to her eyebrows.
As the lesson went by the more my head fell and my eyes closed to a slumber, I was almost in a deep sleep when suddenly someone asked "Can we come in?" I looked up dreamily and saw our year advisor, Mr Kennedy standing at the doorway with my friend Sierra. Miss Karning ushered Sierra in and made her sit next to Grace, oh she was lucky. Suddenly, someone tapped my arm and I saw it was the girl next to me and she asked to borrow my rubber, I gave it to her and paid my attention back to the teacher
I stared at Grace, she seemed to be talking to Sierra, I wish I was in her position right now.

The lesson ended quicker then I thought so and soon enough the class was over. I met up with Sierra and Vinnie and we walked out to recess.

I met up with the rest of my friends and had a short 10 minute break and then of course the bell rang for next period which turns out to be geography (yay...)

It was the end of the day and we had to walk to the train station, in the distance I saw Grace and we had eye contact and exchanged nervous smiles. I couldn't wait until I got to know her and hopefully become friends, I just didn't know how, I'm a shy person who finds it hard to socialise and-
"Renni, hurry up! Train's almost here!"
I ran to my friends to see Grace not heading to the station, I guess she didn't ride the train, it made me kinda sad, then the train whizzed passed me. It was time to go home.

Grace POV
At the end of the day, while I was going home, I had eye contact with Renni which made me blush, I found out she rode the train, it made sort of sad that we lived so faraway from each other, though I have never talked to her. I hope she will talk to me soon because I can't really socialise that easily.
Still 15 minutes until I get home.....
