"it was nice talking to you, but i gotta go." taehyung frowned. he felt bad for leaving with just a simple note that probably scared everyone. especially with the hidden message he put..
"please don't go. i-i don't wanna be alone out here." dowoon frowned, taehyung noticed the elder's hand shaking.
"i can't take you with i.. i'm probably going to be in a lot of trouble when i go home so i can't take you with me. are you okay?" the vocalist bit his lip
"i.." dowoon started, but he seemed too scared to spit it out. "sasaeng fans?" he chuckled awkwardly but taehyung could tell it was a flat out lie. something was going on.
'i suppose i could go home later..'
"i can walk you back home and stay a little bit longer but i absolutely have to go home soon. okay?" the younger chewed on the inside of his cheek.
"okay.." the brunet sighed with a nod. taehyung offered a small smile. "shall we go?" he asked quietly as he stood up slowly. he had to remember to keep his head down so nobody could see him as easily. he cursed quietly again for not taking a face mask.
"yeah." dowoon smiled, he seemed more calm and happier at the thought of taehyung going with him. he stood up and shyly held his hand out to the younger. taehyung wasn't gay and this definitely wasn't gay to him, but knowing civilians around them, they'll probably look at them in disgust and this could definitely be in articles everywhere if taehyung is caught. nevertheless, he held the elder's hand anyway and began to walk.

it's been about a half hour or so after namjoon and hoseok had told everyone about taehyung's self harm tendencies, nobody, absolutely nobody in the room took it well. whether it was seokjin and jimin crying or tearing up, yoongi balling his hands into tight fists or jeongguk, who just looked shocked and maybe even defeated. he's tried so hard to help the older, and this is what he's doing to himself? he felt.. hurt.. hurt that taehyung would do that even with all the love and support he's gotten.
jeongguk suddenly stood and ran off to his room without a word, nobody bothering to stop him. but just as he was about to enter his own room, that he hadn't properly been to in weeks, he looked at the door that he knew taehyung was in, or so he thought. he remembered watching hoseok and namjoon pushing a random dresser from one of the neighboring room against it so taehyung couldn't get out even if he wanted to just so they could tell everyone downstairs the news they had learned just the night before. it was painful to watch even though he knew his hyung was asleep.
jeongguk slowly walked towards the door that was blocked off by the dresser and shoved the dresser away, opening the door slowly and peeked in. "taetae?" he mumbled out as he opened the door further, but was shocked to see the other wasn't even there.
