--InThePast--

"Rise and shine, both of you~!"

An old man in his late 60's voice echoed around the old shrine's room as he opened the windows to let the sunlight shone into the room. Mizu looked at the rest of the occupants in the room that still sleeping soundly on the futon. Tenn and Riku were facing each other even though they're in the separate futon, --as if they both knows where the other location--Mizu chuckled quietly, 'How cute.'

Neither of them showing signs in waking up, Mizu walked out of the room to find some breakfast for them to eat as well as to let them have their rest for a few minutes. As he slided shut the shrine's door close, he started headed down the hill to the town. On the way, he pondered for a moment about yesterday.

They have been talking and chatting until late night if not because of Riku yawned so suddenly, they probably wouldn't stop talking until morning comes. Tenn frequently asked him so many questions --too many questions--that they were lost track of time. (No wonder Tenn is a smart person) Blame him and his curiosity attitude.

Tenn stirred before waking up. The sunlight hitted his face and forced him to wake up from his dreamless slumber. He sit up and stretched his muscles, hearing a satisfying pop sound, he looked around to see an unfamiliar room. Before he could frown in confusion, the last night memory came crushing him down. 'Oh yeah, we were talking about our problem till late night yesterday.'

A sound of ruffling fabric beside him snapped him out of his train of thought.

Riku sit up while rubbing his eyes to chased the sleepiness away. Yawning, he looked around the room seemingly confused by the new environment. Tenn sweatdropped.

"Good morning, Riku."

Riku, who is still in daze state, replied lazily. "Good mor*yawn*ning, Tenn-nii..." 'Wait, did I just said 'Tenn-nii?'

Riku turned quickly to Tenn --Tenn worried that Riku's head might off from his neck because of the sudden force to turn--and gaped. All the idea of wanting to go back to sleep has completely gone when he saw Tenn smiling softly to him.

Riku widened his eyes. "T-T-TENN-NII!?!?!? Why are you he-Oh yeah! We're in the past now! I was nearly forgotten about that!"

'That's what I've been through too...' Tenn sighed as he wondered if this is what most twins in the world been through as he looked at Riku's sheepish smile, finger scratching his cheek in a slow manner.

The shrine's door slid open and the first thing that Mizu sees is the now-woke-up twins stared at him as if he had growned two heads.

"What? No 'Welcome home' for me?" he joked as he walked across the room and putted the foods on the table, preparing to serve their breakfast.

"W-welcome home, Mizu-ojiisan!"

"Welcome home."

"I'm home." he replied, chuckling for a bit. 'It's been a long time since I've joked with someone.' he thought bitterly. Suddenly remembering about his past. He turned around and call out the twins.

When they were having their breakfast, suddenly Mizu spoke, "Did you know? Once there was a human who has been in the same situation as what you both are in."

Tenn perked up at this as he stopped chewing his food in favour to ask. "There is?"

Riku silently watched between the two. 'Are they going to have a Q&A again?' he thought. It's  lie if he says that he wasn't curious about this too but come one, they're in the middle of having breakfast. So he choose to stay quiet and watching the two talked with each other while he, savouring his portion to his heart content.

Mizu smiled sadly before flashing Tenn with a smirk. "Oho~ You seemed interested in it."

Tenn having an urge to rolls his eyes, deciding not to --because it's rude--and turned to looked at Riku instead. Riku in return, tilted his head, "What is it, Tenn-nii?"

"Nothing." Tenn replied but his eyes still on Riku's face. He sighed. "You still eat like a kid, huh, Riku? There is some food on your face."

Riku blushed a bit before wiping his mouth with a tissue that Mizu has extended to him. Nodding as a silent thanks to the old man and turned to Tenn, frowning slightly. "You don't have to said that, you know! You're just like Iori! So blunt!"

"I guess I need to thank Izumi Iori later when we get back home for taking care of you."

"Tenn-nii!!"

--In The Future--

Achoo!

All eyes suddenly on Iori, making the poor teen fidgeting in embarrassed.

They were --no doubt--on the dining table, having breakfast just only nine of them. Re:vale has already go home because they have work for the day and leaved the kouhai to solve their problem by themselves. And the mysterious --species (as what they had dubbed him as)--person left them yesterday to who-knows-where.

"Maybe Iori-kun is sick." Sougo said. Worried tone clearly laced in his voice.

"If Iori is sick, he shouldn't have to come to school then." Mitsuki said as his head popped out from the kitchen's door, staring at his little brother in worry.

"What!? Then I'm sick too." Tamaki said while he fake coughing before resumes eating his pudding.

Gaku raised his eyebrow. "Why?"

"It means that I don't have to go to sch-ouch! What was that for, Mikki!?"

Mitsuki is now standing close to Tamaki. One hand on his hip while the other raised the ladle that he used to knock on Tamaki's head. Face expression ready to scold. "It's not good to play truant! Kids your age absolutely needs to go to school! At least until you've graduated from school!"

"Don't nag me! Sou-chan alone is enough!"

"I'm not sick so stop arguing!" Iori snapped and on cue, everything went silent before someone decided to broke it.

"Then, if you're not sick, there must be someone talking about you, Ichi." Yamato said, eyes not leaving the newspaper on his hand while drinking his everyday morning coffee. (Just like a father would do every morning.)

Iori shrugged his shoulder. "Most probably Nanase-san if not, Kujou-san."
