"JAMES, I TOLD YOU THIS WAS A BAD IDEA" Screamed Lily from a room upstairs. She had been running almost for 4 hours now and was completely out of breath. She heard a loud crash downstairs and sprinted towards it as fast as she possibly could. She almost fell since she skipped the last 3 steps. When she got down she saw her husband's glasses sitting by themselves near the couch. Dark thoughts filled her head for a second but were then replaced by humorous ones when she saw what was happening.

James was lying on the floor with a toddler boy on top of him. The baby was laughing just as hysterically as the man below him. There was a small, toy broomstick which had just crashed near a rather fat cat who was licking his fur and looking almost angrily at it. Lily couldn't help but laugh at the hilarious sight in front of her. James stopped laughing for a second and looked at Lily in admiration. Her smile, her laugh, the way she covered her mouth when she couldn't stop laughing, killed him. He thought of how beautiful his wife was, how lucky he was to have such a smart, gorgeous woman even agree to talk to him, much less marry him and have a kid with him. He thought of every flaw, every perfection Lily had, and how he loved every single thing with all of his heart and soul.

She noticed him looking at her and brought herself to stop laughing too. He gave her a goofy smile, the smile that made Lily fall in love with him. She tilted her head a little to the left, looking at James with a questioning expression.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked. James flashed her another goofy smile and put the baby on the floor. He stood up and took Lily's hands in his. She looked down and smirked a little. She looked back up to a blushing James. He slowly rested his forehead on hers, he watched her close her eyes and he took a second to admire her features. He was so close to her he could count every freckle on her cheeks, every eyelash on her eyes, and every bit of make-up she forgot to wash last night since their son would not go to sleep. He closed his eyes and got even closer to Lily than he already was. He felt her small, quick breaths on his chin. Their lips touched quickly before James spoke in a low, goofy voice.

"I think i've fallllleeeennn in looove with chuuuuuu" he said. Lily cracked up and laughed a little bit before she threw herself at James and kissed him. She held on to the neckline of his sweatshirt while he put his hands gently on her head, pulling her even closer. Those were the words that James accidentally screamed at Lily on their second date while he was drunk on Firewhiskey. The baby boy's laugh suddenly filled the room when he put on James' glasses backward. They both joined the toddler in his fit of laughter. James took the glasses away from the baby's small, chubby hands, wiped them on Lily's shirt (Which made her giggle softly, since its something that James has done since their seventh year at Hogwarts) and put them on his face. They slipped slightly on his nose, so Lily pushed them back for him. James smirked at Lily and kissed her quickly before bending down to pick up their child. The boy smiled and grabbed James' shirt looked at it. Lily looked at him and smiled. The boy looked at his mother and put his little arms towards her as if asking for her to carry him. Lily took her son in her arms and hugged him tightly.

"He's so cute, he looks like you did when you were his age," exclaimed Lily, James smiled and put one of his hands in Lily's shoulder and the other one in his son's tummy.

"Yeah, but he has your eyes. He's lucky ya know, my looks and your brains and talent, this boy is gonna be an actual legend!" He said while he quickly took him out of his mother's arms and held him in the air like they do to Simba in the Lion King.

"Our little Harry," said Lily and James at the same time while looking at their infant son, smiling and laughing without a single care in the world.

There was a knock on the door and James put Harry down on the couch next to Lily while he went to check out who was at the door. He looked through the peephole and saw a man with shoulder-length black hair, a short beard and a small package in his hands. There was a taller man next to him with short but messy light brown hair. He had a few scars running down his face that made him look scary but sweet at the same time. James smiled and opened the door. The man with the long hair rushed and gave a hug to James, which he gladly returned. The man looked at Lily and gave her a hug too. The other man hugged James too and gave Lily a kiss on the cheek, which earned a jealous look from James.

"How are you, Sirius?" Asked James as he threw himself on the couch. The man with the long hair sat down in the seat opposite of James.

"Everything's good. I can see Harry enjoyed the gift from his uncles Sirius and Remus." He responded, nodding in the direction of the crashed toy broomstick. Remus looked at it and frowned slightly.

"I knew it. See? I told you it was a bad idea" exclaimed Remus matter-of-factly. Lily looked at him and nodded.

"We chased him for almost 4 hours," she said, "I'm surprised the broomstick was that fast and that Harry lasted that long." Sirius and James laughed while Remus and Lily looked at them with a disapproving stare. Harry heard James and Sirius laughing so he started laughing too. Sirius picked up little Harry and put him on his lap.

"Padfoot!" said Harry. Lily gasped and James made some sort of odd sound. Sirius laughed even harder and Remus just stood there.

"Merlin's balls! he said Padfoot!" exclaimed James. He was mad that Harry said Padfoot before Prongs because, you see, Padfoot was Sirius' nickname while Prongs was James'.

"Oh yes he did, and it took a lot of bloody work for it to happen!" Yelled Sirius.

"Get out of my damn house," said Lily " I was gonna give you some tea and chocolate but not anymore" Remus whimpered and gave a sad look to Lily.

"Hey! What did I do? I never supported any of this. If anything, I'm on your side." He exclaimed.

"Well, you didn't do anything to stop it from happening, Moony" She responded, mocking the way James called Remus.

"Bloody hell, she took us both out" Said James quietly. Lily laughed and fell on the sofa. She kissed James hard and sat on his lap so Remus could sit there.

They kept talking and talking, until Sirius suddenly stood up, which made everyone quiet. He gave Harry to Lily and walked up to the kitchen counter and grabbed the small package he had when he came in.

"Oi, I almost forgot. Here, Prongs, I wanted to give this to Harry." He said. He handed it to James for him to open and sat back down. James opened it and saw a little plushie of a stag. Lily, James, and Remus laughed. James handed it to Harry and he hugged it tightly in his little arms. Lily awed and Remus put his head on her shoulder. James looked at him flicked his head out of her shoulder.

"Hey, Moony, my wife." He said playfully, Lily laughed and punched him softly in the stomach and patted her shoulder for Remus to put his head back. Sirius looked at them and put on a sad expression on his face.

"Moony, what the hell? why do you need her when you have me? C'mere" He said and extended his arm for Remus to take. Remus stood up and sat on Sirius' lap just like Lily and James were. Sirius and Remus pretended to make out and were saying things like.

"Omigawd I love you Potter!" Exclaimed Remus in a high voice.

"Why wouldn't you, i'm bloody sexy!" responded back Sirius in a deep voice. Lily laughed and James looked at them while shaking his head, trying really hard to not laugh and stay serious.

And so they stayed there, Lily, James, Sirius, Remus, and Harry, not knowing that their happiness will be soon cut short.
