Anna flushed bright red.
" It's going to be be fine it's going to be fine." She tried to calm herself rapidly but nothing would work.At last the ambulance was here. The big bulky men stepped inside." Where is she?" He inquired." Ov-over there." Her voice wobbled as she spoke. The lifted me onto the cushioned plastic stretcher. Anna took my hand as they wheeled my to the ambulance. " I- I'm so so sorry Louisa." I could feel her fingers on my palm. My mind is awake but my body isn't, I can hear and feel but I can't move. Anna keeps crying and telling me she's sorry, can feel her tears and her warm breath on my skin. Now I'm lying in a soft warm hospital bed, Anna comes to see me every week for a couple of hours. I keep dreaming in my head that nothing happened at all and I was with my family.

" I'm hoping she'll be fine ."
