I woke up early in Saturday as I always do. My youngest, Lottie, always wakes up at the crack of six, wailing. She's only four so I guess it can be excused. Usually, my eldest, seventeen year old Autumn, helps get her sorted. It's difficult being a single mum, especially when there's six kids. When I left my husband, I didn't realise how hard it would be. All of my children, Autumn, Willow, Faith, Lottie, Emily, Max and Harvey are all very well behaved, however.
Lottie was wailing particularly loudly this morning, but before I could drag myself from the warm duvet, I heard footsteps. When I eventually pulled myself out of my sleep world, I saw that Willow had gone into the room Lottie shared with Faith. You're probably getting baffled by all these names, so he's the rundown:
Autumn (17): Autumn is my eldest child. She is the spitting image of her father, with long wavy red hair and beautiful blue eyes. She's very mature and sensible and always follows the rules. She looks after her younger brothers and sisters very well.
Willow (15): Willow is my second child. She has her father's wavy red hair and my brown eyes. She's very sporty, and loves netball. She's closest to Autumn, yet she cares for the younger ones well too.
Faith (12) : Faith is my third child. She's brown haired and brown eyed, looking just like me. She's very sweet and rather childish, still believing in Father Christmas and playing with dolls, yet she adores her siblings and is a lovely girl.
Max (10): Max is my fourth child and my first boy. He's a funny boy, very sporty and a very caring person. He's more mature than Faith, despite being two years younger. He's a real hoot, and very loving.
Emily (8): Emily is my fifth child. Her full name is Emilia, yet we all call her Emily. She's a real little diva, always throwing a strop about something, yet when she's happy she is such a sunny and beautiful little girl.
Harvey (5): Harvey is my sixth child. He's a right little character. He loves to put on puppet shows and plays for us. He's such a precious little boy, and her hero worships his older siblings, especially Willow.
Lottie (4): Lottie is my seventh and final child. She's a cheeky little monkey, and loves dressing up and princesses. She's still quite babyish, yet she's babied because she's the youngest.
There you are. They're my seven little gems, and I wouldn't give them up for the world.
