Chapter 1- Brand New Life.
Elsa's POV
My alarm clock went off, and by that I mean Anna screaming 'Wake up! Wake up! I'm hungry, time to feed me!' in the hallway. Chuckling at my younger sister's silly behavior, I sat up and streched. A smile slowly formed on my face, as I thought about Anna and my oh so better life now.
Gosh, how much I wished I would wake up like this; with the sun shining out my window; with the birds happily chirping; and Anna and village people all content. I can finally say that my dream has become reality!
I squealed and feel the excitement bubbling up in me. Laughing now at my silly behaviour, I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Ten minutes later, I walked out of my bathroom, with a towel tightly wrapped around my body and hair.
I wish I could have stayed longer, the warm water was nice. I had finally been able to let my muscles relax and be at peace. Suddenly feeling cold, I shivered and realized that I had left my window open. I quickly padded over to it, clutching the towel like my life depended on it, and closed the window.
There was a knock on the door. I wonder who it is? "Elsa! Wake up! Wake up! Elsa!!" Anna. I should have known it would be her!
"Anna, I'm awake, just let me get dressed! I will be down shortly, " I exclaimed, looking through my wardrobe.
"Okay, hurry up!" She sang before skipping away.
Deciding on a simple yet elegant blue dress, I slipped it on and walked over to my vanity. I grabbed my hair brush and began to comb out the knots in my long platinum blonde (almost white) hair. Tying it into a loose braid, I put on my white flats and smiled at my reflection in the mirror.
Oh, I haven't felt this happy since Anna and I were little children. I remember how we used to play and laugh together, not having to care about what would happen... we were free-we could do anything we wanted to do, and I loved it. I didn't have to worry about keeping my powers in control, or how I might hurt Anna or our parents. I could just live my life as a normal girl- but I'm not and I'll probably never be normal. But as Anna says, 'Normal is boring...' Gosh, what would I do without my sister?
My stomach growled, snapping me out of my thoughts and reminding me that Anna and the others are probably waiting for me.
Smiling one last time at myself, I floated out of my room, leaving a little trail of snowflakes as I made my way to the others. I don't know why, but I feel like something big is going to happen today- whether that is good news or bad? I can't be sure...
But I do know, that I'm going to try and make the most of this new day, in my brand new life...
