Hello, thank you for reading my story! By the way, I don't own Young Justice or any of the characters. Enjoy!
So being best friends with Robin has its perks; he gets all the latest weapons and gadgets (which we totally have to test out) and the newest and latest (sometimes not even released yet) video games. However, being friends with Robin also has its downsides; like never being able to see his eyes or know his real name or spend the night at his house all because of overprotective DaddyBats. But one of the biggest downsides of all is a sleeping Robin. With all of us staying at the mountain, we've all quickly discovered to never sneak up on Robin, awake or asleep. You will find yourself quickly on the ground because of whatever super acrobatic fighting move he pulled on you, or from a taser as I found out from experience. However, we also learned to be extra cautious about a sleeping Robin. If you sneak up on him while he's sleeping Robin, you will find yourself face to face with some sort of weapon, or even his grappling hook which may not be a weapon but if that trigger is pulled; a big, heavy, metal hook will come flying into your face, which hurts trust me. Another reason why you have to be cautious about a sleeping Robin is that he rarely sleeps. He'll go 72, 96, even 120 hours straight without sleeping because that's what Robin does. So when he does fall asleep, nobody can wake him or else they will be faced with an angry DaddyBats who just put him down. Of Course, down being a relative word that can mean many different things. In this case, down means asleep so DaddyBats just got Robin to sleep. This is important to note since nothing about Robin is down. He will fall asleep in any random place and in any random and awkward position. Which leads us to the third reason to never wake a sleeping Robin. Everyone jokes about Batman sleeping like a bat, hanging upside down from the ceiling in his cave with his cape tucked around him. However, Robin is the bat in this case. He literally falls asleep hanging upside down. One time, he was practicing his acrobats on the very high uneven bars in the gym. He decided to sit down and rest for a minute on one of the highest ones. He fell asleep! And because he's asleep , he couldn't balance properly so he followed gravity and swung downwards. Then, M'gann walks in the room and starts talking to Robbin, WHO'S HANGING UPSIDE DOWN FROM HIS KNEES ON THE BAR! She freaks out since he won't respond so she starts yelling and wakes him up. He freaks out from waking up to screaming and he flips off the bar and starts falling to the ground. Due to him being Bat's kid though, he quickly regains his senses and manages to catch himself on one of the swings while doing some freakishly cool acrobatic stunts in the process. And that wasn't the first or last time he did that. He has one of those acrobatic rope swing thingys in his room and whenever he's bored and has to move, he gets up and start swinging around. He'll get himself all wrapped up in that thing and will play video games upside down, study upside down, and especially sleep hanging upside down. Which is creepy and nearly causes a heart attack to everyone who sees it, especially when he's doing it from the bigger one in the gym with its high ceilings. Everyone except Batman, of course. But since that first incident with M'gann and him almost dying, we all made it a rule and we've never broken it since: Never Wake a Sleeping Robin.
Sincerely,

Edit: 9/9/22 - I've changed my email and wattpad does not want to recognize that I want to update my email. It keeps saying that the email is already registered, but that's my email! But when I go to sign in with that email to delete the account, it tells me that there is no account with that email. Frustrating. So, I'm in the process of transferring all of my stories to fanfiction.net, so I'll still have them. I'm going to leave the stories on here, but in the soon future, I'm no longer going to receive notifications since my email is going to be different.
