*11:38pm*

I'm getting dressed for my shift with Cai. Now I got to make sure my whole speech is right when I talk to Boss tonight. Sometimes I really don't like this life. But I chose to put myself in it. So what's the difference if I go all the way with it.

-"Let's dip before the first client shows up." Cai says

*2:35am*

I was down to my last client. I didn't earn as much because I'm missing the one that died. Now I got to explain this money shortage with another lie. Lord please send help. Once we were done, I walked nervously with Cai inside the building. I'm praying that this man don't cut my head off or some crazy shit. We walk up to him and hand him our money

-"Did someone shortchange you Naomi?" He asked.

-"Naw someone ain't put in an order."

-"You might need to expand if you only got an unguaranteed clientele."

-"You're right but I wanted to ask you something."

-"What up young blood?"

-"I was thinking about moving my way up in the club"

-"For?"

-"Some more money, feel more secure. Plus I'm only taking online classes so school isn't an issue right now."

-"Cai." He said turning to him.

-"Yes sir?"

-"You put her on to this? Because I thought only you were interested."

-"I'll be honest. The main reason we're thinking of this is because we want more safety. Sometimes clients can get a little too outta hand. I think Naomi could learn a lot more of defending herself." Cai explained. I didn't know he already asked Boss for himself.

-"I'm all for it. But no pressure on you I was just asking." I said since he was staring at me kind of hard.

-"Never no pressure because I run this. Tomorrow. After your shift. I'll see where I can get y'all started. Y'all might start off just as lookouts but y'all don't get to choose anyway." He said with a smirk on his face.

-"Good looking. We'll see you tomorrow."

After we get in the car I couldn't help but think that this wasn't going to work out. Now I have to pretend to be tougher than ever in order to see if he even let me be a damn lookout.
Once we get back to the house I was done for the night. We can talk more about what happened tomorrow. I need to get some rest for this interview tomorrow.

*9:00am*

Look this is the closest thing I got to business casual ok. We're going to pretend that this dress ain't short as shit.
