Chapter 11

Serene's POV

He kissed me. Lloyd Garmadon, the green ninja and ultimate spinjitsu master, kissed me. On the inside I was screaming with joy. My crush liked me back. This is the best day of my life!
On the outside however I was still blushing furiously.
"Y-You kissed me," I stuttered.
Lloyd smiled. "Yea. Look I know you probably weren't expecting it and all, it's just I really, really like you Serene and I want you to be my girlfriend."
I felt like I was gonna pass out from excitement.
But then the moment was ruined when the others walked in.
"Hey you two," smirked Jay.
"How are things going?" asked Kai.
Had they been listening?
"We were just out in the hall and heard you two talking." said Cole.
Oh crap. They know about the kiss.
"I thought you guys had classes to teach," I said nervously.
"We did but they ended a few minutes ago, so we thought we would come see how Lloyd was doing." replied Zane.
I felt my face turn red.
Lloyd sighed. "Let me guess you also saw the kiss."
"Yes we did." said Jay.
Lloyd looked like he was about to kill them. Then I did something crazy.
I leaned over and kissed Lloyd.
"I have to go train now. I promise I'll come back afterwards."
I walked out the door and sighed. Nya came running out to me, giggling.
"You two are gonna be so cute together." she said.
I blushed. "I just can't get over the fact that he likes me."
"Come on, I'll help you with the training course."
"But your not a ninja." I said.
"I may not be one, but I am a samurai. Also I've been through that course plenty of times when the boys were out saving Ninjago."

Lloyd's POV

Yes! She kissed me back. Serene actually likes me back. This is amazing. I wish I could go help her train, but that stupid villain, Andrew, burned me.
"Looks like she does like you, Lloyd." said Kai.
"It's obvious she does, Kai." said Jay.
"So Lloyd, looks like you may have yourself a girlfriend." said Cole.
"The green ninja and Council's student. Dating." said Zane.
"Just don't ruin this for me guys." I said.
Sensie Wu wet another cloth and began to tend to his wound.
"Lloyd, please be careful dating Serene. She is Council's student and I am unsure if he would want the green ninja dating his student."
"I will, Sensie." I replied.
And I would make sure that Andrew and Slash didn't hurt her.

It had been almost a week since the ninja had been visited by Andrew and Slash, and the boys had begun to notice Serene getting worried. She wasn't focusing on her training and was hardly eating.
"Serene, please eat something." pleaded Lloyd.
"I'm not really hungry," she said.
The two jumped when the new alarm system went off.
"Guys! The villains are back and it looks like they have help!" yelled Nya.
