Chapter 2

As I was reading the fanficion and listening to music by the boys I heard the garage door open.

I turned off the music and closed off my phone.

I ran down the stairs looking at my mom walking in the door with a handful of groceries.

I was hoping there was A LOT of food in those bags because I LOVE FOOD. With a capitol LOVE.

"Hi sweetheart how was your day?" My mom asked while putting the groceries on the counter.

"Very chill I guess you could say..." I sighed.

"Did you pack at all?" She asked.

"Um no... About that mom..."I sighed.

"Why am I going there anyways? Is something wrong?" I looked at her with big eyes and a frown.

"Oh no deer... Your father and I just have been having problems with each other and other things and I just feel like it would be best for you to stay with your grandparents for the summer." She said with a fake smile that had worry all over her face.

I sighed than turned away to go upstairs while my mom was unpacking.

"Kat by the way I didn't know if you noticed but it's 7:00 and you leave at 4am. so I would get packing if I were you." She said.

I continued walking up the stairs thinking what she said to me.

I have heard my parents fight before but I didn't know it was this big of a deal... Never did I think that I would have to be 500 miles away from them just so they could figure things out.. Or even get a divorce!

I tried to clear my brain by blasting music while packing.

That song was just so breath taking I love shawn and this song so much... I think I put it on replay for the whole time I was packing.

By the time I was done packing it was 9pm but I did pack a lot, but only the stuff I needed. So it made sense.

I got into my pajamas, washed my face, and brushed my teeth as life of the party was still blasting from my room.

My eyes opened in fright when I looked at my brother. I then looked at my clock which read 3:56am.

"Kevin?" I asked.

"What?" He scowled.

"Don't call me by my full name again. That's not okay." I glared at him.

"Well you're awake are you?" He laughed.

"I got all the stuff packed in the car. Now go brush your teeth. Morning breath is horrible. And than we are out." He quickly said as he was walking out the door.

I got up, brushed my teeth and it didn't bother getting dressed cause I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt which would be comfy for the ride.

I walked in my parents room and only my mom was there.

I gave her a kiss on her forehead and walked out while lightly closing the door.

I went outside seeing Kevin already out there closing the trunk.

"Ready?" He asked.
