I stormed down stairs, my school bag bouncing up and down behind me. Late. First day of school and I was late. I couldn't believe myself.

Well.. maybe I could. Since when was Brandon Whitsben a morning person?

Since never.

I was proud of my choice of outfit; simple grey shirt, dark, navy blue trousers and my usual black boots. My chain hung loosely around my neck and rings adorned my fingers. My dark raven hair fell onto my face slightly, leaving me to comb it back ever so often. Which, to be honest; was a bit annoying.

Pan was already down stair packing lunches, shoving sandwiches, juices and fruits into 3 brown bags. Because brown paper bags were so badass. Wow, that should add a lot to my look, I thought rolling my eyes.

"Sorry Bred, I can't find anything else in the fridge, we're having Tofu sandwiches," she informed, her blue-grey orbs flickered onto me and she raised an eyebrow examining my clothes, while tossing the lunch bags into the counter.

"Your outfit... cocky much?" She smirked.

I ignored the comment and nodded my head towards the sandwiches, "are you kidding?" I asked rhetorically, while grabbing my shoes, "tofu sandwiches? What even is that?"

Demi looked up from tying her shoelaces on the sofa, but Pan has already cut her off,

"Don't worry, I put one of the cupcakes in there," she said handing Demi her bag.
Demi smiled and unzipped her school bag to stuff her small lunch bag in.

"Bred, your dropping me today!" Demi informed, slinging her school bag over one shoulder.

"No, I'm not," I snorted, looking up while tying my laces, "I'm so late!"

Demi pouted.

Pan shoved the lunch bag at my stomach, "oh yes, you're dropping her! Mom and Dad are sleeping in and Daya and I have a literature quiz first thing in the morning," she excused, slipping into her converse.

"What-" I started, but Daya's loud car horn cut me off.

A smile tugged at my little sister lips, "guess your stuck with me Bred!" She informed, cheekily.

"That's my ride!" Pan announced and grabbed her school bag.

"But you haven't tied your laces," Demi pointed out.

"That's okay, I'll tie 'em in the car, have fun at school you two!" she ruffled my hair earning a scowl from me, and disappeared through the front door.

"Where's my laptop charger?" I shouted, running after her.

"By the T.V!" She called and hopped into the front seat of Daya's car. Her red headed best friend smiled smugly, waved at me, then they drove off. I wondered if Pan really even had a literature quiz.

She probably didn't.

"Bred, do you think you'll like Darthway?"

"Don't know"

"Can you turn the radio on?"

"Sure"

"Bred, why is your laptop charger so important to you?" Demi asked, trying again, her eye brows furrowed, a quizzical expression drawn on her face.
