16 Years Earlier...
"Donna trust me. All you gotta do is deliver this suitcase to the border and Nathan over here will be in a red Sudan. Deliver it to him safely. He will be parked near the gates. You'll be fine. I promise."
"Ian I-I don't know if I can do this. What if I get caught?"
"Baby trust me. We've done more tricker stuff before. Remember Amsterdam or Rio? You've got this and when you come back, there will be a very special reward for you my love".
"W-w-hy can't Nathan just do it then?"
"Now Donna we have been through this countless of times already. Nathan just can not. Ok?" She looks at him with sad puppy dog eyes.
"Donna we will be rich. 10 million dollars baby! Think about everything we can do. Nice houses, cars, private jets" he smirks.
"Alright, Ian. Just for you".
Donna walks off, carrying either a bomb for destruction or a bottle of wishes.
Agitated, she apprehensively waits in her car. A long line of snow-white cars are single filed at the border; her blue car sticks out like a crooked tooth. You'll be alright Donna. This will be over soon and you'll be back with Ian very soon...
"Ah ma'am. Please keep the flow going, you're clogging up traffic here" begins a young officer.
"Sorry, sir. I was just here to um deliver something to an old friend who left his suitcase at my house before he had gone. He's just waiting in a red Sudan. I'm not actually leaving".
"Ma'am there's no red Sudan here, only these white cars and you're baby blue one. Would you like me to look after it and then give it to him when he comes?" he asks.
Donna pauses and thinks. Should I leave the suitcase with a bunch of officers that holds cannabis and go back quickly to Ian? Or should I wait and leave Ian waiting longer?
"No thanks, officer. I'll wait. I'm pretty sure he's just late".
"May I see what's in the bag?" he questions acting more sternly.
"Well now um aren't you crossing some privacy boundaries here now officer?"
"Ma'am I'm not asking you again. What's in that suitcase?"
Hesitantly, Donna searches for Nathan in the red Sudan. Nothing. She pleads with the god her sister always brags about, saying he does miracles and answers prayers. Nothing.
The officer opens her door. "Ma'am exit your vehicle at once". Slowly Donna exits her car and is forcefully pressed against the bonnet. "Ma'am you are under arrest. Anything you say now can be used against you in court".
Another officer enters her vehicle and grabs hold of the suitcase. "NO! PLEASE! NO!" she cries. "That's not my suitcase!" she continues.
"Donna Riley Knox. I hereby declare you convicted of attempting to smuggle eight kilograms of Cannabis across the Mississippi border. You are sentenced to sixteen years behind bars for your felony".
"See you later Leslie" smirks Donna as she brushes past Jordan.
Today...
"Hey, shithead" she yells carrying her high heels in her hand.
"Wow. Prison changed you" smiles Jordan.
"Fuck off. I've been here twice now remember?".
You see. Donna and Jordan Knox had an unusual sort of blood flowing through them. Their parents' were thieves. Their parents' were thieves and well, you get the jist of it.
When they were young, they weren't playing with Barbie dolls or cars like you and me, but with other, sort of toys; learning about other things...
"So how was prison?" asks Jordan sipping on his martini.
"Well, prison was just dandy. Most people were still there since the last time, like Joe and Marcia. What about you? How's Mr Bigshot going?"
"Well," Jordan pauses and slips a small smile. "Let's just say everyone loves me" he laughs.
"Where's all my money I asked you to keep while I was away" questions Donna as she gulps down her beer.
"I used it all" he smirks.
"You dipshit. Tell me where it is?" she sarcastically laughs
"It's in the back".
Donna and Jordan have always had a weird sister-and-brother relationship. They knew, however, that they could both rely on each other for anything and everything.
"So Donna. I've been thinking" starts Jordan munching on his burger. "I want to steal something".
"Seriously Jordan. I just got out of prison. Two fucking days ago, and now you want me to go back there?"
"For fuck's sake Donna. The only reason why you went to prison was because of that idiot Ian. You were all entwined in his stupid aure, that you never stepped back and saw how much of a dipshit that guy actually was. You were so 'in love' with that idiot---".
"---What do you want to steal?" speaks Donna rolling her eyes.
"Artwork. From none of then The Capitolio Museum of Art" smirks Jordan sipping on his martini whilst showing slide shows of the museum to Donna.
Donna remains silent. Processing and taking in everything Jordan just said. Finally, she speaks: "Fuck Jordan. How the hell are we going to pull this thing off?".
