Hot Springs Getaway (NaLu Lemon)

A New Dawn

"Woah, what tough a job that was! I feel like I could eat for a whole year, I'm so hungry!" Natsu exclaimed, while Lucy rolled her eyes at him. "Alright, I guess we should go find some dinner - but you can't buy out the whole damn place this time!" Lucy yelled at Natsu hoping he'd actually listen to her request. After arguing for a bit nothing sounded good and they ended up settling on going to the guild for dinner.

Returning from a long job request Natsu, Lucy, and Happy wander through the streets of Magnolia to the guild to have some food. They find that they have been rewarded with an all expenses paid trip to a five star Hot Springs Resort up in the beautiful mountains of Fiore. It wasn't quite the payout that Lucy wanted (because she was running low on rent money) but she definitely wanted a vacation after all the hubbub that Natsu brought when they tried to complete jobs without repercussions. He was always wrecking the place without a care - and so in the end their reward money usually dwindled. She definitely needed to find a way to reign in that tendency...

While Lucy and Natsu made their travel plans for their free resort vacation over dinner and drinks at the guild, Happy told them that he decided that he wasn't going because Carla had actually asked for his help on one of the jobs that Wendy accepted. "Aww, man I was looking forward to a family vacation..." Natsu whined. Lucy's head shot up and looked up at him with a confused look when she heard the word 'family.' "The vacation won't be the same without ya little buddy" Natsu pleaded to the little blue cat. But Happy said that he felt like he couldn't let Carla down in her time of need, so they left it at that. The late hours ticked on after they finished up their late dinner, and Lucy was feeling the urge to sleep harder and harder to put off. "Alright guys, I can't keep my eyes open any longer." Lucy sleepily told the guys, and headed out the guild, giving a slight wave to them as she walked out the large wooden doors. She couldn't wait to take a quiet, warm bath and fall into a deep sleep in her own comfy bed.

Lucy awoke to the pungent smell of burning toast...."WAIT, WHAT?!?" It only took Lucy a few seconds to realize that someone had entered and was attempting to cook..."Why meeee...." Lucy groaned, getting up out of her warm sheets, forgetting she was in a barely there negligee (for comfort, of course...) She groggily walked into her kitchen and saw Natsu, shirtless, in an apron? But why? He was certainly an odd one... He spun around and said "Hey Luce! G'Morning! Hope you're hungry! I tried to make toast, but I don't think it came out right, sorry." All while his face blushed furiously trying to avert his eyes from the sight of a half naked Lucy that stood in front of him. Lucy being half awake and unaware, just shrugged him off and made her way to the pot of coffee he had prepared and grabbed some yogurt and granola bars from the cupboards, tossing the burnt toast he had handed to her into the trash. Some time later, once the coffee kicked in Lucy realized what she was wearing, squeaked out a little noise (which Natsu thought was pretty cute) and bolted out into the bedroom grabbing her robe to cover up her curvy and barely clothed body. They sat and ate their breakfast in relative silence seeing as Lucy wasn't really awake, nor up for company this early. Why did he even get here so early?!

Once they had finished their small breakfast Lucy reluctantly said, "Alright Natsu, I'm sorry to say but we're gonna need to take the train later and then a carriage up to the mountains where the resort is..." Lucy was weary of how Natsu would react to such news. She got dressed in her usual crop top and mini skirt and they made their way to the station, all the while Natsu groaned about the imminent train ride the entire way there. Lucy practically had to shove him onto the train so they wouldn't miss it. She handed their tickets over, and Natsu immediately became queasy, and hunched over into her warm lap. She gasped at his head landing there but she couldn't help but sigh and placed her hand on his pink hair, gently stroking his head to hopefully ease his stomach, to make the ride a bit better. She hated that his dragon senses made him such a bad traveller. It took a few hours for them to complete the journey to the resort. The resort was beautiful, giant cherry trees surrounded the walkways and smelled wonderful. Lucy could sense the tensions of her body instantly release at the thought of a massage and a hot soak. Natsu looked over to Lucy, to see her with a calmness he rarely saw, she looked so happy. He was glad that this weekend was happening. There was something about her demeanor that made him happy that she was the one he'd met all those years ago. All the adventures they had together, all the excitement and even all the sadness that they had experienced - he wouldn't trade it for the world.
