DIFFRENT ACTIVITIES OF THE DAY

                         Bismillah

The agements meet at around 8:00 A.M to play so called football.

The two playing teams have eleven t-shirts each with no extra, on one side all the t-shirts had labelled Messi nambari kumi mgongoni number 10 while the other side they have M Salah, since they are the only players who are famous in this land. No substitution in the game.

The teams bring  120 shillings ( $1.2 dollar) for each. The winning team will get 100 shillings ( 1 dollar) and for the 20 shillings ( 0.2 dollar) is for the referee. For you to be referee you must be the bravest in the playground or you will be drive away immedietly.  The match doesn't  have any given time. Playing time for normal footbal games are ninety minute but this game, time is not considered. You will play as long as you will be sick and tired.

Normal break for footbal match is 15 minutes but for this, is going home, drinking a smug of uji porridge then fetch two tanks of water for your mom ( 20 ltrs each for lunch preparation) and come if possible. Sometimes happen your mouther send you to a neighbouring village, if you are the captain of the team, that is the end of the match. It will be carry on next time.

But if all the players come back, the second half of the game will be resumed.  "Fighting" is the  most  activity  within the playing period.  Yellow card is known and  red card does not exist even.

The match may last for two hours, if misunderstanding arrives, the only solution is to drive away the coins to the air and from that point whatever your hand acquire is for your own not for the team.

When you take lunch after dhuhur prayer, you are forced to take siesta. If you are not feeling any slumber and you are in same room with your mom, you just cover your face with your hands peeping your mum through between your fingers. When she is in the midst of her sleep,  you tiptoe up to the out of the room and ran away to hither and thither around the village while the sun is scorching and it is over 32 decrees celcius.

For the girls, they are busy on competing who is more expert when it comes to washing clothes, utensils, combing hairs and moping up of houses.  Watching movies, chatting with boy friends,  eating ice creams and being cartoonist are what you will not find in the dictionary of these girls.

In the evening,  the cratures of this land face to the outskirts competing different fields.  In the Olympic games we talk about "high jump", jumping over a bar but I can describe it as a shadow when compared to this high jump where you jump over thorny trees .

In the night, dwellers gather up making stories of different kind;  ogre, trickster, why sories and other oral narratives.

Before you join any learning institutions, you are master in literature. Boosting creativity and sharpening of mind starts days before you join education centres.

And it is in this arena of story telling where you know who is  chuti liar and who is sidiiq  truthful among the community.

Aye mere Allah Oh My Allah am fond of living in this land because among the community, it is clear crystal between cowards and warriors,  soothsayers and  pacific liars and trustworthy and betrayer unlike  elsewhere.
