*UNEDITED*
I grunted, as my front collided with the floor of my school's hallway. Everyday. Every single fucking day; did they seriously not have anything better to do? Why couldn't they just leave me alone? I wasn't scared of them; I was just really bored. They repeated their own actions and I honestly didn't understand how they still found it funny.
I pushed myself up with my hands, jumping to my feet as quickly as possible. I hated them. All of them. They were in no way funny and I'd had enough.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I screamed, rushing to throw my hands forward and shove the girl who stuck her foot out and tripped me. She grunted at the contact, but quickly gained her balance. Anger took over her features and before I even knew what was happening, she had thrown her bag to the floor. She took a step forward and raised her arm, expecting me to flinch. Trust me, I'd had worse and I was not scared of this brat.
"Hey!" Someone yelled, before any fists could fly. Everyone stopped in their tracks, instantly recognising the voice and halting their actions. Even the girl I was about to murder dropped her hands. I continued to stare at her. They didn't scare me.
The crowd that had apparently gathered around us dispersed, making way for their 'queen'. Demi was apparently the leader of this school, but I was not about to bow down to her. I never had and never would. I'd never actually seen her, either. Pretty much everyone in my school was afraid of her, though. Why? No idea.
I looked away from the girl who had tripped me and towards this supposed 'legend'. She must look pretty scary if everyone's so afraid of her. I turned my head, staring at the crowd and watching as she pushed through the last person.
I almost laughed when I saw her. She wasn't scary at all. In fact, she was actually pretty cute. She was short and had a baby face. This is who everyone was so afraid of? As well as wanting to laugh at the difference between the Demi I had pictured in my head and the Demi stood in front of me, I also couldn't help but stare. She was unrealistically beautiful and so adorable. This couldn't actually be the person people feared?
"What's going on?" Demi asked, tilting her head with an unamused expression. She stared straight at the other girl, obviously knowing she had something to do with it. Demi didn't look happy, but she also looked kind of experienced. I wondered how many times she had to split up fights. I didn't know much about her, but I knew from gossip that she hated fighting, but also that she hated bullying even more.
"She pushed me." The other girl answered, not looking Demi in the eye. I didn't say anything. I was so bored of this. She targeted me constantly for absolutely no reason and I wasn't going to put up with it anymore. If I didn't do something about it, it would continue to happen and I wasn't okay with that. I wasn't about to explain myself, either.
"What did you do to her that made her want to push you?" Demi asked, clearly bored. So this had happened before. I could tell. The other girl was a bitch and I found it highly unlikely that I was the only person she'd targeted.
"I just tripped her." The other girl admitted, looking at the floor. She was like a little child being told off by their mom. It was actually amusing. I tried my best not to smile, watching Demi give the girl a stern glare. She let out an aggravated sigh, running a hand through her hair.
"I'm not even going to bother asking why, because you won't have any reason other than the fact that you're a jerk. Am I right?" She sassed, crossing her arms over her chest. Okay, wow. Maybe she was a little scary. Not scary enough to move out of her way or cower away from her, but scary enough to flinch a little. The other girl just shrugged, trying to brush it off as if she didn't care. "That's what I thought... Look, I'm bored of you. You're not funny. You're not cool. You're an ass... and if you carry on," she started, taking a step closer to the girl, who immediately stepped back. "You're going to regret it."
