Night began to fall, which meant another night on the hunt. Jeff only killed at night so I developed the habit of sleeping during the day. At first I didn't enjoy even the thought, but I eventually got used it over time. I looked around the streets wondering where to start looking. I've been in this this town long enough to know it like the back of my hand . Rumors have spread in this small town of a psycho killer murdering people in there sleep. Each body the police found had a wide carved smile in their face. I only hoped this was the real deal and not some fake fan trying to impersonate Jeff. The thought it self sickened me, of someone worshiping a deranged killer. But it wouldn't be the first either.
I started to walk into the forest when I heard something rustle. The son of a bitch must be hiding. I looked around to see a male in a white hoodie emerging from a nearby Bush. I watched closely as he started climbing up a light brown house. When I got a closer look, I was able to identify blood stains on his white hoodie. This was obvious that it wasn't going to be his the first kill of night.
I threw my blade at him and watched as it pierced him in the back, causing him to fall to the ground. I walked up faced down body and slowly pulled the knife out of his back so he would feel the most torturous pain imaginable. This was it, the moment were I finally had my revenge.
Once my knife was out, I flipped him over to see his ugly, revolting face. I didn't know what was more repulsing, the fact that it was another fan or how bad his costume of the real deal was. The man had thick layers of black eye shadow under his eyes and red lipstick that went up his cheeks. He looked like a lazy Halloween costume that was prepared last minute.
I spit in his face, smudging some of the bright red lipstick on his cheek . "This is for trying to be like that insensitive killing basterd! For killing the incident as if their lives worthless." He looked at me in fear as I put my blade on his neck. Blood poured endlessly from his now lifeless body, some even splattering on my mask.
"Why don't you go to sleep!" I screamed, slowly dragged my knife across his throat. I couldn't let that fake Rome the streets. Even if he wasn't Jeff, he was still a cold blooded killer posing as him. Before I left the body , I left a note.
"Dear Jeff,
Killing this poser of you makes me a step closer to finding you. I will get you Jeff I promise you that, not today, but soon. So enjoy your freedom last.
Till we meet again ~Jane The Killer"
I sighed as I made my way back into the woods, finding Jeff proved to be more of a struggle then I imagined. No matter, one day I will have my revenge on the cold blooded son of a bitch. I just pray their are no more fakes in my way. It brings tears to my eyes to find out people treat Jeff like he's some kind hero, a god even. When in reality he was just a mass murder who killed others for the hell of it. Some hero huh?
I climbed into the tree I had been currently sleeping on these past few weeks. It was another thing I had to deal with these past 11 years on the hunt for Jeff, living like an animal. It only made me hate him more. I looked in my bag that I had filled of dozens of newspaper articles I stolen. I examined through them, looking for the most resent one.
"Killer on The Loose! Issued August 8th, 2000." I crossed out the head line as a reminder to myself that either Jeff was either no longer there or he never was.
I gazed up at the sky to see the sun starting to rise. Cursing under my breath, I layed back on the branch as the feeling of failure washed over me . Yet another day that Jeff got to live. And tonight, another night of innocent lives dieing . I closed my eyes, relaxing at the heat of the suns warm rays and allowing sleep to consume me.
~Dream~
I woke up to find myself in my old bedroom, laying down in my old blue sheeted bed. It felt as though I dreamt everything. Jeff, my parents, the incident , it was almost to good to be true. I walked around my house to find my parents weren't home, they must have been at work, as they always were at this time. When I got into the kitchen I noticed a piece of paper on the counter top. Thinking it might have been from them, telling me they'd be home late, I grabbed the paper and quickly scanned it. However, to my demise ,what I read was not from my parents.
"Weren't you supposed to have dinner with us once i came back from the hospital? I hope you didn't forget. I hope to see you soon. Friend. ~Jeff"
Oh no, not this again. I ran to my window and looked across the street to see Jeff looking back and tapping his knife against the window. I turned away to grab the biggest knife in the kitchen. I was not going to this happen again. This time he will be the one that suffers!
I ran across the street and slammed Jeff's door open to see Jeff in his wide smile.
"Hello friend. I'm happy to see your here for dinner. Everyone's been waiting for you to join." I growled knowing already what he did and held my knife against his neck. "You son of a bitch!" I yelled making him laugh hysterically.
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain going down my spine and as i reached back I realized Jeff had stabbed me in the back. I watched him laugh as i fell to the floor, felling as though death was on the verge of taking me. Jeff dragged me to the dinner table and tide me up and put a rag in my mouth. I started to cry as I looked around the dinner table. My parents, Jeff's parents, Lui, all dead with wide smiles on their faces. The horrible smell of death once again filled my nose making me cry harder. Why, why did he do this!
"Don't cry Jane. Is it because you don't look beautiful like them, like me?" He removed the rag from my mouth, just when i was about to scream he put his knifes blade against my cheek. "Jane shhh its not polite to scream at the dinner table." Jeff said as he pulled my hair back. This was it, this was me reliving my nightmare all over again. I remembered what happened next before he even did it. Him purring bletch and gas on my face, and finally lighting me on fire before running away into the night.
I screamed loudly as i felt once again the fire burning my skin and tear off my flesh bit by bit. Then i was at the hospital. The damn hospital! Nurse Jackie once again brought my the package. The package Jeff gave me because his plans on making me "beautiful" like him didn't work out. I put on the mask, the wig, and the dress he gave me before fleeing into the night to find the basterd
~End of Dream~
I woke up from almost falling out of the tree. I sighed , adjusting myself so I couldn't fall to my death. I felt myself start to shake from the dream as I remembered its gory details. Sobbing quietly, I put my face in my knees. This went on for hours until I eventually fell back to sleep.
