1)Me and her

Scarlet has long straight blond hair shiny light blue eyes lightly tanned skin and is quite petite , she's my little sister and best friend.
I'm two years older than her and we have been together since I can remember it's the best to know that we weren't separated when put into foster care and adoption.
We've been through so many families and feel like we've seen it all , moving from town to town or city to city or now sometimes even move to differant country's.
But 3 years ago I lost her
I lost the most valuable thing to me , my sister.
It was summer time and the sky was calm blue and me and scarlet glared up to the huge sky above us as we lay on the burnt yellow grass in the park we pointed up to the clouds
"That one looks like Cotten candy!"Scarlet explained and giggled in the process
"Umm stop making me hungry"I teased and nudged her in her side "besides they all look the same" I said in a know it all tone and laughed as she crossed her arms
"But they all are different just like all people and animals and creatures nothing is exactly the same not even twins or conjoined twins!" She pointed out in objection and I had to give in and agree , she always looked at others point of view and interpretations that was a skill not a lot of us had especially since she's only a ten year old "speaking of Cotten candy do you hear that ??" She asks I I get curious and listen carefully as I soon hear the distant music of an ice cream van it's old fashioned song echoing through children's ears as they all looked up like dogs when they hear a knock on the door and there senses kick in ; I felt unsettled about this because it just seemed off but thought nothing of it.
"I'm going to get ice cream! There might be a Cotten candy flavour!" She states joyfully,geez she loves Cotten candy too much I might need to get her some help.

I nod my head and allow her to go over to the ice cream van out of the park on the side walk , I only let her because this is the first treat we've had in years. The family were staying with are alright better than we've had in years really , the dad is usually out with business but he's really a kind man but I don't think I'll ever accept him as my real dad though , he adopted me and my sister by accident at first and only wanted one of us so we could keep his son company but when he saw how attached my and my sister were he didn't want to bring us such poignancy. His son we never really talk to he's nice I guess and I say hi now and again we sometimes chat but not for very long , on the other hand our adopted dads girlfriend I may have too many negative words to describe her simply I think she's a gold digger and a phoney but I can go on for a life time about how vexatious she is.

Caring on scarlet gave me her one of a kind heartwarming smiles that lighten up the world and skipped towards the ice cream van which was so far away I could hardly  see it but could make out a massive ice cream on top of it , It seemed odd that the ice cream van was parked so far out of view and at the back of the park wouldn't it be more advised if it was at the front but I stopped thinking about that and roamed around for my book.
I waited for minutes reading my book then it had been 20 minutes and I was getting tense and apprehensive before getting up and running to where I thought the ice cream van was. It had been now two hours and I had searched the whole park and not one clue to where my precious sister could be , maybe she went home? so I sped off to the house and barged into the front door.
For once I didn't dread seeing Tiffany my adopted dads girlfriend because I need absolutely ANYONEs help , fortunately I could tell that my adopted dad pat was in so without second thought I rushed upstairs and rapidly opened the handle to the door to see the most disturbing unpleasant sight ever.
I'm not going to go into detail as you innocence people would be broken (and if it already is by wattpad then it would get more broken and I'll make that possible) let's just say Tiffany was in the room and screamed so high it would scare your ears for life ; I had no idea why she was screaming I should be the one screaming.
"What the hell are you doing!" Tiffany scowls and I roll my eyes , how can pat be with such a woman?!She gave me the most bitchiest looks ever and I feel like rolling my eyes again but if I did they might end up staying that way.

"Scarlet has disappeared, she's missing I looked everywhere and can't find her anywhere!" I say in a panic not taking one breath and ignoring Tiffany as a tear leaks out from my eye and pat gets out of the bed puts a robe on (i obviously step out) and rushes down stairs towards the house phone which we very rarely use
"what is You emergency?" The lady on the other line asks professionally and quickly
"My daughter has been missing for-"he pauses and looks at me and I mouth to him a time
"For 2 hours and thirty minutes my other daughter was in the park with her and then she went off and has disappeared" he explains to her "okay I will take note of this however for now leave it till morning and if nothing happens then call us and I'll report it to the police"she says.
The whole night I never slept a wink all was on my mind was my sister and as you could probably guess my sister never did come home and left me in depression and misery , I never wanted to go to school eat or do anything.
Everyone left me because it was difficult to talk to me they tried but I never listened cared or took any notice of a word that came out of there mouths , even Tiffany had left me alone. Months later about 7 the police arrived at our house to tell us some important information regarding to my missing sister case so for once in 7 months I was intrigued...
