Prolouge

Snow White had everything she could ever want. She had her prince, David or charming as she called him, and she was pregnant. All was well until she caught word that her step-mother, the evil queen, was working on a curse to send everyone from the enchanted forest and into a world with no magic. No happy endings. The day before the curse was cast, she went through a wardrobe in order to escape the curse and all it's horrors. She had her memories and she had her unborn child. All she needed was her husband but according to rumplestilskin, she would have to wait twenty-eight years. It was worth it to be with her daughter though. She decided that her name in this land would be Victoria.

Snow/Victoria gave birth in Portland general hospital to her daughter, Emma, and met Meredith Blanchert. She and snow quickly bonded and became friends. As the mother and new born had no where to go, Meredith offered for them to stay with her until they got on their feet.

Snow White attempt to go to the small town in Maine called StoryBrooke in search of her Prince but could never find the town. It depressed her but she had to move forward and take care of baby Emma.

Twenty-one years later snow and Emma still live with Meredith blanchert. They had picked up the last name of swan. Victoria and Emma swan. Emma worked at a local diner as a waitress and snow worked there as well but as a chef. Meredith was a house keeper for a local hotel out in Portland, Oregon where the three lived.

Emma was a smart kid. She graduated top of her high school class but couldn't afford to go to college. She was an odd one. She wore glasses and yet still played softball. Meredith had been the one to get her interesting in the sport. She was great at it.

Meredith was an older lady, about fifty-seven. She knew snow and Emma's true stories. Snow had told her when emma was younger and yet even emma didn't know the truth.

When Emma turned thirteen, a young man about fourteen, was put in the foster system having come from Neverland. He's name was Baelfire but he went by Neal Cassidy here. He didn't know emma. Yet.....
