Marie's POV

March 14th: Monday: School~First hour: Chemistry

Chemistry class is not fun in the slightest. Honestly being a Sophomore in this school is terrible. Especially knowing that there are people here you've known since 5th grade who really don't like you. Nikki is one of those people. She's the bully of the school in the girl's section of it. She's also the biggest whore of all time. Her skimpy little booty shorts, tight small crop top with the color of red and white at the collar, black skin tight boots that reach up to her upper thigh with a small shameful heel to make her the least bit taller. She seemed sad wearing all that makeup she wears, black and a tint of blue eye shadow, black as midnight eye liner, pink blush that makes her look like a clown of all things a clown for god's sake, highlighter that's too much for her skin tone makes her look like a damned spotlight, her contour didn't eve match her pale ass skin at all, and her red lipstick stuck out the most making her lips bigger and fuller is sad to say the most. She looked like a damned drag queen and her pack of hussies were just like her except Madelyn. She was normal of the four of the deadly damsels. Long sleeve shirt with a small v-neck making her look sophisticated and proper, skinny jeans that fit the top quite well, and some converse that makes her look comfortable in. I would say she looks normal and comfortable for her style and looks than rather clowning yourself up for "attention". Let's see there's another person I despise as well. Marcus Louis. The bad boy and player in my school. He has light brown slick back hair, green enchanting pulsating eyes that make all girls swoon over him, tan skin that look soft to the touch, lite stubble that patterned his strong jawline, his smile was bright white with a slight smirk as well. His looks were everything for the ladies of the school but I wasn't under his spell which made him interested as to why and tried talking to me and try to make me fall for him just by saying hello with this raspy deep voice. But I always win and to say the least I am defective against his little spell. He may be handsome but he is very dumb and doesn't understand the true nature of a woman who is strong minded and strong will-powered. I'm not dumb enough to see what he does to these girls but Nikki is way too dumb and so she falls into his category of easy pickers and pushovers.  So he plays with her till she will swoon over him enough to the point no matter what he does to her, she will be a mindless embodiment of commitment to the "relationship", and forgive him for everything till he pushes her down a flight of heartbreaking stairs to where, when she hits the bottom she will be nothing but a empty depressing shell of heartbroken dreams and anger towards others. Experience has taught me well through these years of school and such. But alas she's nothing to him to say the least. Just another girl for him to clip onto his belt. But he isn't getting me anytime soon. I'm basically the only girl he's never been able to make love him instantly. Sad story for him to be honest.

"Marie!" I jumped in my seat a bit at the sudden out burst of my teacher. Her name is Mrs. Haldon. She's strict but a very good teacher in my opinion. She's kind of off as well when it comes to wording certain questions on worksheets and prompts when it comes to research prompts that only the smart people will know. But overall she's nice to those who 'actually pay attention' in class such as me, Angel, and Madelyn who pays attention just to do the homework for the so called 'friends' she has.

I looked up at her with question and curiousness of what she has to say.

"Are you spacing out dear? Is something troubling you? You haven't even started the class work I handed out to the class."

My eyes grew dark and covered in grief. I couldn't help but feel my lip quiver and shake under the fact another year of not having him here alive and well in my home while my mom is a raging drunk with men between her legs. I felt tears covering my waterline and my vision was blurry with sadness and depression. The tears built up and eventually broke from their prison and fell down my face like an unstoppable waterfall. I pushed myself up and walked out of the classroom holding my head in my hands. Pushing the door open, I heard Angel call my name.

"Marie..." She had fear and concern in her voice. It showed she cared dearly for me and I'd do the same for her. She's a dear friend to me and I'm glad to have her by my side.

Angel's POV

I could tell she was hurting. Mrs. Haldon should've known not to ask her about it. I even told her at the beginning of the year not to ask. Yesterday was such a tough day for her and she's gonna be like this for a week or maybe a month. I got up to follow her but I felt someone push past me. I was shocked to see Marcus walking towards the door.

"Marcus! Where are you going?"

"To comfort duh."

"You don't know what she's going through. Why do you care anyway?"

"Because I hate seeing woman cry like that."

My eyes widen when he said that statement. He's made girls cry but when Marie cries he doesn't like it? So he tries to comfort her? What is he thinking to do to her? What is his plan? What exactly does he want with or from her that's so important?
