Chapter 1

*RING* *RING* *RIN-* I slam my fist onto my alarm clock. I groan while getting up.I wasnt ready to go to school today especially being the new student in sophomore year. I just moved to Korea from America and its a really big change. I got up from my bed and lazily got ready for school. We didn't have a dress code so I threw on grey sweatpants, a black tank top with a grey hoddie over it. I walked downstairs to see my mom making breakfast. "Honey would you like anything to eat?" " No thanks mom." And with that i headed out for school. I got my schedules over the weekend so there was no need to be late to class on my first day. It was still early so I was one of the only people in the classroom. The bell soon rang and people began flooding into the classroom. It was 10 minutes into homeroom when someone ran in. I assume they were late. "You're late....again Mr. Jongin" The boy bowed slightly to the teacher and took a seat next to me. While writing down in my notebook I could feel the guy's intense stare. I look over at him and he still stares at me. I've had enough of his staring. "May I help you ?" I asked him with my eyes narrow. He looks at me and just laughs. He wont stop laughing and it's kind of annoying me now.I was so happy when homeroom was over. I zoomed out the class and went to my next one.I prayed that the guy from homeroom...I think his name is Jongin isn't in my class,but of course he ends up sitting next to me AGAIN. I mentally roll my eyes. "I'm sorry about earlier. I was just laughing because you're funny." I give him a questioning look.He started laughing again while reaching for me.He took a couple leaves out of my hair.My whole face went red.While walking to school this morning i had tripped and landed in a bush.I shy away and say thank you. "My name is Jongin by the way but my friends call me Kai." I nod at him. "I told you my name now tell me yours?" "It's Tiffany." "Wow what a very American name." I rolled my eyes. "Well, that's because I am American dumbass." I began laughing at my own comment and he started laughing with me. "Hey do you wanna sit with me and my friends at lunch today", Kai asked me.I smiled and nodded my head. This might be the start of a beautiful friendship.
