I swiftly stuff as many clothes as possible into my suitcase, putting anything that didn't fit into my backpack. Once I was done, I zipped up the suitcase in a rush.

I let out a long sigh, I can't believe this is happening, I have the worst luck. I grabbed the handle on my suitcase and brought it to the floor beside my feet, then realizing I only had my fluffy, pink bed socks on my feet. Jesus christ Mina, you're not even wearing shoes? go put your sneakers on idiot! I thought to myself.

After I had walked to my front door to go put on my shoes, I scrambled around frantically, grabbing everything important to me and stuffing it into my backpack.

I squinted my eyes, looking around to make sure that I wasn't leaving anything behind.

Making sure I had everything for the third time, I then grabbed the handle of my suitcase and placed my arms through the straps of my backpack, taking a step out the door.

I walked forward and then turned around, facing my front door. I raised my hand in the air to wave goodbye to my old home, wow mina did you really just wave goodbye to a building? that's just sad.

I now had my head turned away from the building and started to walk away, I stepped right into a puddle, grunting in frustration, today really isn't my day is it. I could feel the water seeping through my sneakers and into my socks, yuck.

I continued to walk down the street, at first all i could hear was the squelching of my shoes but the sounds of the city grew louder with every step I took. I hadn't been to the city at night for so long, I forgot how nice it was, all of the lights, the bustling cars filling up the roads and the low sound of chatter from the bars buzzing through the air.

I walked past many hotels but as soon as I would enter the front waiting room I would see that all of the rooms had already been filled. Fair enough, it is almost 3am.

After looking and walking around for almost 30 minutes I finally found a hotel with an available room, unfortunately it was a love hotel.

I walk up to the front desk to go pay for 1 night in the room, as I approached the woman at the front desk, I pulled my wallet out of my bag. "What room would you like?" she asked me, giving me the biggest yet obviously fake smile.

"This one please" I say, pointing at the cheapest room I can see on the screen behind her. She nods politely "that will be 75 dollars please", I smile back at her and open my wallet.

"Huh? A pretty little lady like this shouldn't be staying at a love hotel by herself" I hear a deep voice speak out behind me. I start to look around to see if anyone else is in the room as the man couldn't possibly be talking to me.

All of a sudden he is in front of me, handing a credit card to the lady at the front desk "I'll be paying for her" he says, raising a hand and pointing towards me. "Wait no I-" I start to say, but before I can finish my sentence the man grabs my wrist and starts walking, "Come on, let's go check out our room".

(The picture is what I imagine him to be wearing by the way).
