Chapter 7

When we got back to the hotel we decided to go swimming. They all headed down with their girlfriends. So I went down to the other boy's rooms. I opened Carter's door and asked if him and Matt wanted to go swimming. They said yes and started getting changed. I went and asked the other guys who said no because they were watching a movie.

I waited for Carter and Matt. Once they were finished we all walked down to the pool on the main floor. All the guys and their girlfriends were already in the pool fooling around. Carter went and jumped in with Matt instantly.

I pulled my phone out and took a picture quickly tweeting it "@AllyParkers: Hanging with these weirdos!" I locked my phone and put it down on the table with our towels.

I turned around to be quickly engulfed in a huge, wet hug from Matt.

"Come on Ally! Get in the pool" He said still holding me tightly.

"You're sooo cold! I might have to pass tonight!"

"Oh no you're not!" Matt said picking me up so my legs were around his waist and he held my thighs.

"No Matt! It's going to be freezing!" He didn't seem to care about what I was saying as he continued to run towards the pool and jumped in. We made a big splash as we both hit the water.

When we surfaced I realized I was still holding onto Matt tightly. He was looking at me with those big hazel eyes. Gosh I could get lost in them so easily.

Our eye contact was broken as Carter jumped onto Matt's back yelling "Carry me too Matt!"

He put me down as Carter's jump took him under water. We all laughed and started playing Lady At Night, a game the Jack's and I came up with when we were younger. It was pretty much hide and seek and marco polo combined. A person was chosen to be the lady and everyone separated and stayed in one place. The lights were turned off and the "Lady" would swim underwater and feel for legs. If you found one you pulled them under.

Shawn ended up being the "Lady" for this round. So we all spread out and we turned off the lights. Shawn counted to 30 and then began to swim around. As we all watched him anxiously in silence, someone tapped on my shoulder. I jumped a little making a movement.

The same person grabbed my arm and pulled me under moving towards the wall. They pulled me out of the pool towards the balcony. Once we were outside I realized it was Matt.

"Oh my god you scared me Matt! I thought you were Shawn!" I whisper yelled at him.

He just laughed "They won't even notice we are gone." We sneaked back into the pool area to grab our clothes and towels, hearing someone scream as Shawn pulled them under. We got out of the pool area and went out to the boardwalk.

We walked down to the shore along the beach in the moonlight.

"So how do you like Magcon so far?" Matt asked interrupting the silence.

"It's so cool and California is so pretty!"

"That's great! First time out here?"

"Haha you can probably tell"

"Haha not really"

We stopped talking for a little bit. It wasn't an awkward silence between us though. Just each other's presence was good company.

We started walking back and it was tiring. I could slightly hear Matt puffing from exhaustion. Hearing him made me giggle. He must of heard because he looked up smiling.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing"

"Oh nothing, huh?" he said poking me in the side making me laugh.

"Stop Matt!"

"Oh ow I think I twisted my ankle! I can't walk all the way back to the hotel. Ally you have to carry me. You can't just leave me here to die!" Matt said over exagertatedly limping slightly. I could tell he was faking.

"You suck at lying, you know that?" I said bending over a bit.

 Matt hopped on my back full forced making me almost fall over.

"God you're heavy" I said breathing extremely heavy as we reached the hotel doors. He hopped off my back when we got to the hotel.

"You know my ankle is feeling much better now!" He said all smiley and entergetic.

"Oh shut up." I said hitting him in the shoulder.

We walked towards the elevator and went to our rooms seeing as it was pretty late and we had a meet and greet the next day. I couldn't help but smile at the events from today. I could completely be myself around Matt. He was so funny and playful.

But I'm still unsure of where I stand with him or even Nash. 

All I do know is this is going to be the hardest decision of my life.
