Chapter 8 Time Of Your Life

After about five minutes of the warm fuzzies BG breaks up the group hug. She corners Rave and slaps him.

"Whoa BG what was the for?" Cyber asks her best friend curiously.

"Yeah what was that for?" Rave asks rubbing his cheek.

"Don't ever scare me like that again!" She says threateningly. We all laugh and she eventually drops the tough girl act.

"Now that we are all reunited I think we can stop with our failing plan and get us home?" Robin says to all of us.

"Well don't you want to know what happened?" I ask the group. The others gather around Rave and I. We weave through our tale and when we are done the others look at us like we're crazy.

"What?" I ask the group.

"Talking turtles good one!" Cyborg shouts. Cyber slaps him and he shuts up.

"Well I for one believe them completely!" Starfire shouts at Cyborg. Wildfire nods in agreement. Robyn and Robin shrug as if they agree. Cyber and Cyborg eventually agree but BB and BG are still skeptical. Ugh!

"I give up!" I exclaim. I storm out. BB gets up and rushes to me.

"Wait Rae!" He shouts. I freeze at the sound of my nickname.

"W-what?" I stutter. He leans in and kisses me full on the mouth. I can feel myself tense up but slowly I kiss back.

"I'm sorry we believe you." Beast Boy says as we pull away. It's cliche but cute. I sigh and roll my eyes.

"You wanna contact them?" I ask him with an evil grin.

"That would be awesome Rae!" He says. I rush to Rave and ask him if it's ok. He nods. We pull up the video chat and hit call.

"Donnatello what's the situation?" The purple masked turtle asks.

"Nothin Donnie we just want to introduce you to our teams." Rave says. He nods at me so I can go first.

"Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Cyborg." I say pointing at each one. Donnie smiles and leaves to get his team.

"Raph, Leo, and Mikey." Don says. We all wave.

"It's awesome to meet you dudes!" Mikey says holding an ICE CREAM KITTY?! Donnatello sees my expression.

"Don't ask." He says shaking his head.

"Remember if you ever need backup. You can always call." Leo says.

"Trust me we will." I say to them. We wave goodbye and end the chat.

"So now that we have contacted the turtles. I am feeling the sickness of the home. May we return to our tower?" Starfire asks all of us. I nod and open a portal.

Cyber shoots it making my black energy a black and blue tech color. Rave helps me and opens my portal even wider. Cyber continues to shoot it until we nod.

Starfire waves goodbye to all of us and flies in. Robin does the same. Cyborg salutes to Cyber, who giggles, but then he jumps in.

Last is Beast Boy.

He kisses me on the cheek and whisper something to BG. He calls out to me "See Ya on the other side." And with that he jumps in.

I leave quickly and fall back into the portal. And if my eyes saw it correctly I saw Rave wink at me.

Epilogue

I wake up in my bed gasping for air. I rub my head and check the date and time on my clock.

Today is June 17. But that doesn't make sense. June 17 is when all of this happened. When my adventure started.

Did I dream it all? But it was so real. I still have questions! What ever happened to Deathstroke?! Terra and Terrence?!

Suddenly BB comes in my room.

"Raven we have trouble. It's Mumbo Jumbo." I nod and he leaves. I sigh.

"Here we go again." I say getting myself ready.

But this time I'm not getting ready to fight crime, I'm getting ready for the time of my life.
