"Reporting to your Highness, someone has breached the Fox King's meditation chamber!"
There was a high pitched scream of surprise and the next moment a woman could be seen, struggling to dress herself. By contrast, the half dressed man pulled open the curtains around the bed without any shame in his excitement.
"What? When?!"
"There was lightning and thunder from the Heavens. The High Sorceror Muyao interpreted the signs and sent word immediately."
"Hurry and send our men to the Grotto immediately. Make sure you seize whomever comes out. No... don't seize them. Just kill them! Whatever you do, don't let him leave alive."
"Yes, Your Highness!"
The man left. After a few moments the green haired man was on his feet again hollering for another servant who came running. "Send word to the Phoenix King immediately and let him know what has happened. Our quickest dragonling, immediately!"
"Yes, your Highness!"
When the servant had left the green haired man sat back down on the bed, trembling with excitement. The woman who was sitting shocked and forgotten on the bed, approached him. "Your Highness, please calm yourself. Too much excitement will harm your body."
She rubbed his arm and found to her surprise his skin was cold and clammy. "What is the meaning of this? You are the King of the West Sea, a dragon among immortals! What had distressed you so much?"
"You... you wouldn't understand."
"Is it... oh I know. Wasn't the Fox King in possession of some unrivalled martial arts manual? Don't tell me that you want it?" The woman rubbed his arm again seductively. "Your Highness, you don't need it! Everyone knows your martial arts is the best! Even that Jade Emperor, sitting on his big golden throne, he isn't your equal-"
She didn't get time to finish as the harsh slap sent her flying sideways, she screamed as she was knocked onto the ground. "Your Highness!"
"Get out of here, you whore! What do you know! You know nothing! What martial arts manual! What do I need with something like that?!"
The woman fled, crying. The next moment the West Dragon King followed her, yelling that the High Sorceror Muyao be brought to him immediately.
Then he stumbled back inside and sat back down on the florid bed. His whole body was shivering and he wrapped his arms around himself as though he couldn't control his body.
He knew there were more secrets in that chamber than the Four Paces of Spring.
