Harry's POV
"Louis and I can read each other's minds," I said finally. They all just stared at me, and I'm freaking out on the inside.
How do you know they aren't staring at me? Louis thought. This was pretty cool at first, but now it's just getting old. You bet it is, Louis told me. I will never get to not think about something without Louis getting into my mind ever again. Haha, even if we didn't have this weird connection I could still get in your mind, Louis teased. The pros of being a vampire. I sighed again.
"Wait, there's something weird about this," Niall said.
"Of course, Harry can read Louis' mind and he's not even a mind reader," Zayn said.
"No, not that. Well, yeah that, but there's something else," Niall rambled.
"What is it Niall?" Liam asked, concerned.
"They're opposites," Niall said bluntly.
"What do you mean by that?" Eleanor asked.
"I'm not getting it either," Danielle added.
"I get it," Louis says. You do? I ask. Yeah, hear me out, he answered.
"Explain," Liam said. Again, there it was. He wasn't screaming, but it was still threatening, like a school teacher. Exactly what I was thinking, Louis thought.
"If I can read minds from a distance, and Harry can project thoughts into someone else's mind by touching them, we're opposites," Louis said. After saying so, he had a triumphant smile on his face.
"Finally someone who understands me," Niall said.
"But the question is why?" Zayn pointed out.
"Harry can you project an image into Louis' mind without touching him?" Liam asked.
"Woah, I don't even know how to project something with touching someone correctly, so how in the world can I do that?" I said. Why is being a vampire so hard?
"Um, you guys, I don't know why we're asking Harry about this stuff. Most of the time we wait until after the first hunt," Danielle said.
"That's right, we need to teach you to hunt," Zayn said.
"Finally, Liam forgot to do something," Louis said dramatically.
"Louis," Liam warned.
"Sorry," Louis mumbled. How come everyone seems so afraid of Liam? We'll tell you later, Louis telepathically told me.
"Who wants to take him? We're gonna draw too much attention if all of us go, and no Eleanor you can not come," Liam asked. Eleanor's face falled and Louis and Zayn snickered.
"I'll go," Niall said in his thick Irish accent.
"Me too," Louis said.
"Okay you guys, you guys can go downtown. Just don't kill someone too big, or people will get suspicious," Liam said.
"'Kay, see you guys later," Louis said and disappeared.
"Bye people," Niall said and followed Louis out.
