Teasing the Alpha

 Chapter One: The BonFire

  “Annie?” I heard my little brother say my name as he shook my arm. I slowly lifted up my head from the pillow it was on.

“What’s going on Alex?” I asked as I brushed the hair out of my face to look at my little brother.

            “I had the bad dream again.” He muttered in a quiet voice as he held his small stuffed dog to his chest.

“Come on you can sleep with me tonight.” I said lifting up the blankets and letting him crawl into the large bed with me.

            “I miss mommy and daddy.” He said as he snuggled right up to me.

“So do I buddy. So do I.” I said as I rubbed my hand on his back until he fell asleep.

            I looked at my sleeping brother and brushed the stray hairs out of his face. He looked like my dad more and more every day. We lost are parents 3years ago when he was two. The last thing he has to remember them is the stuffed dog that he carries everywhere with him. I took over my fathers pack after they where killed and so far everything was going great. I learned everything from my dad and I knew that this wasn’t just a pack. These people where my family and they meant the world to me. I slowly felt myself drifting off and I let the sleep consume me.

            I woke up the next morning to the sound of someone knocking on my bedroom door softly, but with my great hearing I was able to wake up with out having Alex wake up to. I slowly moved his arms off me so I could get out of the bed. I pulled the covers back over him and walked to the door.

            “Annie we need to get going soon if we want to make it to the stonewall pack territory by tonight.” My beta Tyson told me as he stood out side my bedroom door.

“Okay can you ask Gina to pack some of Alex’s cloths to. He is coming with us today and I want Jim and nick with us as well just in case this meeting doesn’t go as I planed.” I told him as I gave him a half smile.

            “Alright I’ll meet you down stairs in an hour.” Tyson said before leaving.

I walked back into my room and over to my closet. I pulled out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and my white off the shoulder shirt. I took a quick shower and got changed before I dried my hair and left it down. I walked over to my bed where Alex was still sleeping.

“Alex. Come on buddy wake up.” I said as I ran my hand across his for head. His eyes opened and he rubbed them with his fists.

“Come on buddy we are going to go see grandma and grandpa today.” I said as I lifted him up out of my bed and I picked him up so his arms where around my neck and his head on my shoulder.

            Are grandparents where members of the stone wall pack since that was my grandfather’s original pack. They had just stayed there and lived together even though my parents wanted them to come live with us. We hadn’t seen them since the funeral and even then it was mostly them just trying to take care of everything so I didn’t have to focus on anything but Alex.

            Alex and I made are way down stairs and only a few people where still in the kitchen since most of the kids where are school and the other members where working. I sat Alex down on the counter and got him his blue water bottle thing that was filled with milk. I made him some breakfast and once he was done eating we walked into the living room where Tyson and the guys where all standing waiting for us.
