I have always been a fan of horror movies but Pans Labyrinth has to be one of my favorites,it all started when my dads friend let me borrow his copy of pans labyrinth when I was 12 I loved it even though I had to read subtitles because I was originally made in spanish. About a year or two later I wanted to watch it again so I asked my dad to ask his friend if I could borrow it again he said yes so I went to where my dad worked and he gave it to me,I went home at watched it,but this one was different instead of Ophelia and her mom getting out of the car it showed the pale man eating Ophelia. It didn't bother me because I thought it was apart of the movie and plus I've watched every "saw" movie so I didn't get grossed out at that kind of stuff. I kept watching it until the scene where it introduces the faun, when Ophelia went into the labyrinth she saw the faun, the faun was eating the Faries that he gives her to protect her from the pale man later in the movie,The fauns eyes were black and soulless, he lunged towards Ophelia showing off his razor sharp teeth drenched with the faries blood. It cut to the pale man scene, I was terrified at this point, it showed Ophelia eating the food on the buffet table where the pale man was sitting,he slowly grabs his eyes from the metal plate and puts them in his hands,This was normal. But I heard screaming in the background, Quicky I grabbed my cat for comfort but that didn't stop me from being terrified, it showed the pale man slowly sinking his teeth into Ophelia's skin it quickly cut to the ending scene where Ophelia meets her real parents but nobody was there.the thrones were empty,Ophelia screamed but nobody came to her aid. After weeks trapped in the room she slowly starved and died. I told my dad about it but he said "it was just a dream" I couldn't destroy it because it was my dads friends but I wanted to.To this day I swear I will never pick up another copy of that movie.
