Sullivan

You shifted in your seat as you waited for Sully to come. It was 20 past 5:00 and you were feeling like maybe you were stood up. You got up and started heading to the door, giving a shy smile to the librarian as you walked past. You were almost to the door when you suddenly slammed into a wall. Or something that felt like a wall. You were headed for the floor when you felt a hand close around your wrist and hold you up.

"You should really start looking where you're going. I won't always be here to catch you, ya know." A familiar voice spoke with amusement before breaking into a deep rumbling laugh. A deep cherry red spread across your cheeks and nose at that fact you had once again bumped into Sully. You began stuttering reply as he pulled you up "W-well, you l-let me r-r-run in-into y-you." Your cheeks got warmer as he laughed once more.  He ruffled your hair and gave you a cocky, goofy, lop-sided smile and your heart decided to start training for a 100-yard sprint.

"An-anyway y-you are l-late, S-Sully." Sully rubbed his neck as he racked his brain for a good excuse. "Well, I had a hard time getting away from the guys. They found out I had a crush on someone and thought it was funny." "Y-you h-have a cr-crush?!" Sadness flooded through you and wrapped your heart in a suffocating grip. Sully turned his head in embarrassment and to hide a growing blush. "Yep. On the kindest, prettiest girl in the school. I was planning on asking her today." The grip got tighter and all you could do was squeak out. "Oh." An awkward silence followed and lasted a good minute. Sucking it up and decided to support him forced a smile on your face and you spoke in a small voice. "W-well, g-good lu-luck. I h-hope it a-all go-goes w-well."

The words seemed to help Sully as his once tense shoulders relaxed. "Here goes nothing," he mumbled under breath as he turned his head to face the timid girl in front of him. "y/n, will you go out with me?" You froze as your brain processed his words. Sully's face fell as you stayed quiet and turned to walk away. "Right. You don't feel the same." His dejected voice snapped you out of your trance. "Wait!" You grabbed his hand and pulled him around to face you before wrapping your arms around him. You buried your face in his stomach and spoke as clearly as you could. "I would love to go out with you." It came out muffled but that didn't stop the boy from hearing you. A giant grin appeared on his face as he wrapped you up in a massive bear hug.

Mikey

You gave a heavy groan as the school bell rung, signaling the end of class and of the school day. You had thought and thought and thought some more about how to tell Mikey you liked him and whether he liked you or not. And well... you got zilch. You figured to just get it out with it but something held you back and you felt then unfamiliar desire to run away. 'This ain't going to go well.' You sighed and started a slow almost shuffling walk towards the school's front doors. The walk came to an end when you turned the corner and saw Mikey. You stood frozen like a popsicle and the only thoughts running through your head were 'RUN.RUN.RUN.' But you didn't instead you moved forward very slowly.

"Hey, (y/n). You sure took a long time to get here." Mikey flashed you a lazy grin. "I have a lot on my mind." You shrugged your shoulders and Mikey shook his head. "Does it have anything to do with why you been acting so weird." You hemmed and hawed for a second before turning away. 'Of course, he isn't going to make this easy.' "Well...Yes?" You made a face that said you weren't all that confident in the answer. Mikey raised an eyebrow. "What's been on your mind then."

"I really like you."

Mikey lower jaw dropped and his eye(s) widened. But your face was a strange amalgamate of shock, fear, anger, and relief. You opened your mouth to speak but couldn't form words. "I-I...W-well, it-it..Argh." But having found nothing to say, you huffed and facepalmed. 'Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Just blurted out your feelings. Real smooth, (y/n).' Mikey, on the other hand, was struggling to process what you said and how he should respond. However, he snapped out of his daze when noticed tears streaming down your cheeks. So, he wrapped you in a strong hug and put his face to your neck. "I really like you too." His warm breathe causes the skin of your neck flush. You stiffened in shock quickly loosened up and smiled a great, big smile before hugging him back.    

A/N Sorry if Mikey was OOC, I accidently made him suaver than intended but oh, well. I am truly sorry for taking so long as school, my job, and stress got in the way but know that I am working on the first date/first kiss chapters. And yes I will be combining them for maximum sweetness. Also, there was a lot of hugging in this chapter.
