New Faces

Normal Day

The next few periods flew by and it was finally lunch. Ken and I walked over to the table that Cry, Felix, Marzia and Russ where sitting at. No one actually got lunch we just got chips and little snacks. Cry stood up and grabbed my arm pulling me out of the lunch room into the hall. "Uhm hi" I say completely confused "sup" he says as he leans on the wall "So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with us tonight, we are just going to go to the park, since your new I thought you might want to come.. I mean if you want and if not then its ok and..." "Cry,Cry, ill go" I say smiling and trying not to laugh "oh ok cool" he says "Ok". We went back to the lunch room and all of the people we sit with all looked at us. It was awkward for a little bit but then they started talking about going to the park later. It will only be Ken, Felix, Cry, Marzia and I. Russ has a birthday party to go to. A few periods later school was done and Ken, Felix, Marzia, Cry and I where all talking about tonight, finally we decide to get going home and decide that we will meet at the park at 6:00. Cry lives a few houses down from me so he said that he would walk me home.

We talked about video games on our way home then we finally got to my house. "You know you aren't that bad squirt, you are actually pretty cool!" Cry said with a smile "You aren't that bad either" I say as we where rudely interrupted by Zipper. Zipper came over and started jumping all over Cry. "Cry I'm sorry, he usually..." "No no it's ok he is cute! He is a Saint Bernard right?" " Yeah, I'm surprised you would know" "I love dogs, I have cats but they are boring.. Well ill talk to you later squirt, remember 6:00! Don't be late" "Ill try not to be!" When Cry left I walked inside as my dad got off of the couch and came over to me. "By the way dad, I know you let Zipper out" I said. I wasn't that mad because it actually helped get me closer to Cry. "Who was that boy?" "His name is Cry, he is a friend" "Ok I trust you, got any homework?" "I have some papers you need to fill out but other then that no" "Ok well lets get them out"

After dinner it was 5:34 and I figured I would talk to my mom about going to the park. I say next to my mom in the living room and gave her puppy dog eyes as I asked her about her day. "Hey mom, would it be ok if I go to the park with a few of my friends?" "Who are these friends?" "Just a couple of people I've met at school they seem like nice people!" "Ok I guess but be home by 8:00, you have a 9:00 bedtime!" "I have a bedtime?" "It's your first few days of school you can't be sleepy!" "Fine whatever I'll see you later mom I love you!"
