"You actually came!" Jihoon was greated by a bright smile when he arrived at Taehyungs place. "Please come inside." He nodded and shyly followed Tae as he led him to his room.
They were working on their chemistry assignment for a while, when Taehyung suddenly pauses and looks at Jihoon. "Did I do something wrong? You're so quite today. Usually you talk a lot. And every time I see you with your friends you're so bubbly and bright. What happened?" Jihoon looks into his eyes. How did he notice his change in behavior? Should he lie to him or should he tell him the reason why he was acting so different? "I.. just.. ughh..." he tries to form his thoughts into actual words. "I'm just very confused. I practically confessed my love to you and I thought that I had scared you off. And then you ask me to work together? Listen Tae, just because I like you doesn't mean you have to like me too. I just want you to know that. I think I told you because you deserve to know that you're a really nice and kind human being and you're handsome as well. And you inspire me." Taehyung just looked in his eyes as he was a bit surprised by his words. "Thank you for your honesty and the nice words. I.." He was cut off by his mother coming into the room. Jihoon immediately sits up straight and moves a few inches away from Tae. "Boys, Dinner is ready. Jihoon, I would be really happy if you could join us for dinner." She smiles at Jihoon who shyly agrees.
After dinner Jihoon decides it's time for him to leave. They agreed to work on their parts individually and meet again to put everything together. He walks towards the door, aware that Taehyung follows him, and turns towards him to say goodbye. "Thank your mother for the delicious dinner. I'll see you on Monday, right?" "Right. Monday in chemistry class." Taehyung pulls the surprised Jihoon into a hug, a soft hug. "I had fun today and thank you for talking so honest to me." he whispers into the small boy's ear. He closes the door with a little grin, leaving a baffled Jihoon standing outside.
