A Hogwarts Tale: The Enigmatical Adventure of A.J. Slytherin.

My name is Alice Annette Jefferson. I don’t remember my childhood very much, including my birth parents, because I was adopted as a baby by the Jeffersons, a pureblood wizard family. Then, at the age of ten I got a letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At this moment I was excited since both of my parents went there and were in the house of Ravenclaw. At the same time I was scared, I never was away from home for so long. So I’m Extremely nervous. I hope everything goes okay. I know I'm going to miss my parent, but hopefully everything goes by quickly. I’m not very good at making friends.  m

Today is the day I’m going shopping to get ready for my new life as a Hogwarts student. “Hey, mum I got all my books and my uniform.”

My mother replies, “That's great honey, now we need to get you an owl so me and your father can send you letters and you’re going to need to get a wand.”

“Let’s get my wand first then we can get my owl.”

“Okay, you go while I go find your father, he must be around here somewhere” my mother says while looking around for him.

“Wait mum, where do I go to get my wand?”

She replies with, “Ollivanders of course! That's where your father and myself got our first wands.” She says as if I have any idea where Ollivanders is until she pointed in the direction so I start walking that way.

When I walk into Ollivanders I see thousands of wands they were all over the place, then I get startled when a little old man pops his head out from around one of the many shelfs. “Oh hello! You must be here for your first wand.” he said with a huge grin.

“Why yes I am.” I say with a small smile. He starts looking at some of the wand boxes until he finally picked one up, I wonder.

“Here try this one, just give it a wave.” I do as the man says and the door starts to open and close. “No not the right one, let's try this one.”

I nodded my head as he opens the wand box. He places it out front of me. I reached out and picked it up. The moment I touched it, it started to glow lightly. “I think this is the one.”

After saying my thanks I headed out. Right when I get to the door it opens up and slightly hits me. Hearing a voice say quickly and sincerely, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t see you there, are you alright?”

"It's fine." I said as I looked at the girl.

“Is this your first time getting your wand also?” The girl said to me.

Looking up to her I said “Yes. I’m getting all of my supplies for my first year at Hogwarts, are you going there as well?” She smiles at me.

“Yes I am, well I guess I’ll see you at the train station. I have to buy my wand” I smiled at her.

“See you there.” I saw the girl walk into the shop and now I’m to find my parents, well this is going to take forever.

After walking around looking for them I finally found them.Now we are on our way to the pet store, that's where I found a black owl with white spots. I named her Raven I thought she was so beautiful. When we went home that night, I was laying on my bed thinking about my new life as a Hogwarts student.I wonder what house I’ll be in. Hopefully I’ll have friends in my house.
